10th Anniversary of MOGA Festival in Essaouira

A historic edition that will bring together Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, and ANOTR to enjoy five days of music, culture, and an endless summer on the Atlantic coast of Morocco.

Ten years since its creation, MOGA Festival celebrates in Essaouira, the city where it all began, a very special edition to commemorate a decade of music, community, and cultural exchange on the coast of Morocco. From September 30th to October 4th, MOGA Festival will celebrate a historic edition that positions Essaouira as one of the most attractive destinations to kick off the autumn.

What began in 2016 as a boutique festival by the Atlantic has become one of the leading electronic music festivals in Morocco and the Middle East, gathering thousands of travelers from all over the world every October. Today, MOGA is recognized for its unique combination of electronic music, Moroccan culture, wellness, surfing, and creativity, offering a unique immersive experience in a magical location, between the Atlantic and the dunes of Diabat.

Throughout these ten years, MOGA has expanded its international presence with editions in Portugal since 2021, Spain since 2025, and soon Brazil, always maintaining its roots in Essaouira and its commitment to projecting Moroccan culture on the international stage.

A decade of music and creativity on the Moroccan Atlantic coast

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, MOGA brings together some of the artists who best represent the festival's musical identity. Among the featured names, the tenth anniversary will bring together an exceptional trio.

Headlining the lineup is Jamie Jones, one of the most influential figures in the international house scene, who will perform a concert in Morocco for the first time after more than two decades leading club culture. Joining him will be The Martinez Brothers, in what will be their first performance in Morocco in over twenty years, bringing their unmistakable New York house sound to Essaouira. The Dutch duo ANOTR, having become one of the most sought-after projects in current electronic music and creators of the renowned No Art movement, is another of the headliners and the one in charge of closing the festival.

They will be joined by an incredible selection of international and local artists to create the soundtrack for five days of the festival, reaffirming MOGA's commitment to discovering new talent and boosting the vibrant Moroccan electronic scene.

An endless summer in Essaouira

While much of Europe says goodbye to summer, Essaouira maintains a mild climate that has made it one of the most inspiring destinations in Morocco, with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. For five days, MOGA invites you to discover the city through its Medina, its riads, beaches, gastronomy, artisanal tradition, surf culture, and its relaxed and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Well-connected to major Spanish cities, MOGA Festival offers one of the unmissable autumn getaways, transforming into a meeting point for music lovers, travelers, and creatives from all over the world during the first week of October.

Five days, two experiences

The festival unfolds around two complementary experiences.

MOGA OFF (September 30th and October 1st) transforms the city into a large open cultural space with DJ sessions, concerts, wellness activities, surfing, outdoor cinema, workshops, and local experiences spread across some of the most iconic corners of the Medina. MOGA IN (October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th), at the Hôtel Le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa, brings together four stages where music, art, gastronomy, and design are integrated into a palm grove to offer a unique immersive experience.
