Enjoy Bateleur Festival in Crete

Dennis Ferrer, Rafael, and OMRI. headline the first artist announcement for this very special festival in Elounda.

A new destination festival concept arrives in Crete. Bateleur will take over an entire five-star resort in Elounda from October 22 to 25, 2026, to offer a house music experience limited to 500 people, unlike any other.

An immersive five-star experience

The festival will bring together international DJs, a full wellness program, and a five-star hospitality experience, creating a totally immersive weekend where the resort itself becomes the festival, all framed by one of the most spectacular coastlines in the Mediterranean.

Unlike festivals that are simply held in hotels or resorts, Bateleur will occupy the entire complex, creating a private and exclusive environment for its attendees. Accommodation, musical programming, wellness, and hospitality have been conceived as a single continuous experience, allowing the weekend to evolve naturally from afternoons by the pool and private beach sessions to open-air parties that will continue until sunrise.

Balance between music and wellness

Music is at the heart of Bateleur, but the experience goes far beyond the dance floor. The festival will feature a full wellness program that will include yoga, sound healing, ice baths, workshops, and much more, creating a balance between celebration and relaxation throughout the weekend.

Dennis Ferrer, Rafael, and OMRI. lead the first announcement

The first artist announcement is headlined by Dennis Ferrer, a New York house pioneer whose three-decade career has helped define the sound of underground house.

Joining him will be Rafael, whose deep sets, built around the groove, draw from the essence of classic Chicago house. The artist is also behind Cheetah Print, his recently created record label.

OMRI. will bring his particular vision of house music. The artist is also at the helm of Collecting Dots, a new label that is quickly gaining prominence within the scene.

Crete as a setting

Located in Elounda, the resort is just 45 minutes from Heraklion Airport, in one of the most exclusive areas of the Greek island. The town is known for its crystal-clear waters, spectacular landscape, and some of the best resorts in the Mediterranean.

Nearby attractions include the traditional fishing village of Plaka, the sunken ruins of the ancient city of Olous, the quiet beach of Kolokytha, and a picturesque harbor filled with fish restaurants, cafes, and bars.

With its celebration in October, once the large summer tourist crowds have left the island, Bateleur proposes a new and truly intimate way to experience a music festival.
