British producer Michael Bibi has once again demonstrated that club culture can be a driver of social change. In the middle of this month, through his charity project 'One Life', the artist organized a surprise daytime event at the exclusive Lío Ibiza, bringing the electronic community together for a vital cause: the fight against cancer.

The day, which extended from the afternoon until sunset with views of Dalt Vila, managed to raise exactly 51,670.23 euros. These funds have been donated entirely to the Asociación Pitiusa de Ayuda a Afectados de Cáncer (APAAC), a local entity that provides emotional, social, and psycho-oncological support to patients and their families in Ibiza and Formentera.

Resilience and purpose after the diagnosis

The 'One Life' initiative was born as a direct response to the personal experience of Bibi, who in June 2023 was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma, a rare cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord. After overcoming the disease at the end of that same year, the artist transformed his return to the stage into a global awareness and fundraising campaign.

This recent pop-up at Lío Ibiza continues the charitable success the DJ achieved last year at Beachouse Ibiza, where he also raised more than 56,000 euros for the same association. The Briton's constant involvement is fundamental to sustaining comprehensive care projects on the island.
