A lagoon that changed the day in the bay

The lagoon-style pool, palm trees, and line of beds facing S’Arenal set the tone of Bam-Bu-Ku at first glance: a daytime dance floor where water, dining, and music share the same plane. The venue opened on June 23, 2020, as a new project from the team behind O Beach Ibiza, located immediately next to its sister venue on the San Antonio Abad waterfront. Its approach was not to replicate a nocturnal macro-club, but to extend club culture into the sunny hours with a stable formula of pool, food, bed service, and programming.

From the poolside to the artificial wave

The space is articulated into two main areas: Lagoon Pool Side, around the large pool, and the Bam Bu Ku Beach area, open to views of the bay. The different types of beds and loungers allow groups to be separated without fragmenting the general atmosphere, while the restaurant and bar act as the service hub. Added to this leisure architecture are a boutique, a kids' club, and a double-lane FlowRider, a continuous wave installation rarely found in an Ibizan beach club. Waiter service at the beds reinforces the continuity between the dance floor, swimming, and dining. In 2026, a brand renovation incorporated new areas and a new pool without abandoning the tropical aesthetic of the complex.

House in the sun and layered programming

The music moves mainly between relaxed house, vocal accents, Ibizan classics, and funk or Balearic-profile sessions, accompanied on many dates by dancers, artists, and live entertainment. The venue's identity is built through cycles that occupy the same space without being confused with it: Poolside Paradise concentrates the most relaxed pulse; Summerrockz raises the energy on days for adults; Ibiza Brunch Club combines brunch and pool party; and El Kiddo or Fam-Bu-Ku adapt the DJ booth and entertainment to a family audience. On selected dates, it also programs formats for teenagers and special night openings, so the schedule may extend beyond the usual daytime slot.

An intergenerational dance floor in today's Ibiza

In 2026, Bam-Bu-Ku remains active as a summer venue with daily opening and an agenda that alternates family days and exclusive sessions for adults. This coexistence defines its position in the scene: it does not reproduce the logic of a closed superclub, but an open-air dance floor culture in which visitors, residents, groups of friends, and families coexist. Its physical relationship with S’Arenal beach and O Beach integrates it into the bay's daytime leisure corridor, but its lagoon-style pool, artificial surfing, and intergenerational programming give it its own personality within the Ibiza clubbing map.
