The adult piece of the Gran Manzana

On the third line of the Gandía beach, the plot delimited by Legazpi and Barraques streets is the heart of La Gran Manzana, the leisure group of the Berenguer family. There, the Hotel Safari, the veteran Bacarrá, and the venues surrounding that block coexist: Eclipse Lounge Club, El Seis, and La Dolce Vita. Eclipse is not the oldest club in the saga—Bacarrá opened in 1977 and Falkata in 1986—but it is the venue that the group itself presents today as a lounge club for a more adult audience, with a terrace, drinks, and a night designed to stay.

The venue is located next to Bacarrá, on Carrer de les Barraques. Access is for adults only, except for specific events where those over 16 can enter with parental authorization. Costumes or derogatory or offensive insignia are not allowed. The published schedule is from 23:30 to 07:00, with regular opening on Friday and Saturday and extra nights depending on the lineup.

Palm trees, VIP, and a bar in the center of the dance floor

Eclipse's most characteristic physical feature is its terrace. The club describes it as spacious and well-kept, with areas for conversation in the open air; official photos show palm trees, low benches, lanterns, and outdoor cocktails. Inside, the dance floor is organized around a central bar, with disco balls, smoke, and a mezzanine. There are VIP areas and reserved tables in the room and on the terrace, and public parking nearby.

That double life—indoor nightclub dance floor and palm tree garden—fits a beach nightclub that wants to be selective without turning down the volume. The venue sells tickets and VIP access through the La Gran Manzana platform and reserves bottles and private areas for the terrace and the room.

Remember, commercial, and dance DJs

Eclipse does not present itself as an industrial techno club. Its public programming moves between commercial and remember music, with remember afternoon sessions and weekend nights. Sessions by Albert Neve, remember parties, and dance-themed events have passed through the dance floor, and in 2016 Kike Jaén, a name linked to the Valencia sound, performed. In 2011, the Eclipse room in Gandía filled a concert for the Gandiautor cycle with Iván Ferreiro and Luis Ramiro.

It remains open as a physical nightclub on the beach: the adult room of the complex, more lounge than mega-club, more remember and commercial pop than underground club, anchored to the same block that has been defining the Gandía night for decades.
