A pick turned into a logo and an industrial estate transformed into a musical ecosystem summarize well the character of Es Gremi Centre Musical. Born in 2003 in the Son Castelló Industrial Estate of Palma, the project promoted by Pepe Bauzà was proposed as a 360-degree center to dignify the musician's life: not just a stage, but a complex with more than 4,500 m², concert halls, school, musical restaurant and dozens of rehearsal spaces. That scale has made it a reference point for live music in Mallorca, with a direct relationship with local bands, independent promoters and club audiences.

Three rooms, three dance floor temperatures

Its current identity is articulated around a multi-room format. Sala 1 functions as the main room for medium-format concerts and is equipped with Meyer Sound Leopard, Meyer LFC subwoofers, Galileo Galaxy processing, two heights, VIP area and LED screens. Names like Joe Satriani, Nach, Rosendo, Marky Ramone, Dinosaur Jr., Zahara or León Benavente have passed through that space. Sala 3 concentrates the largest format and is oriented towards concerts, parties and nights of electronic or urban music, with a PA by MAGA Engineer and Powersoft stages. Performances and sessions linked to Cristian Varela, Miss Monique, Marika Rossa, Pawsa or Iseo & Dodosound appear there. The renovated Sala Zero, presented in 2025, adds a more flexible space, with a club aesthetic, outdoor terrace and smaller capacity for showcases, DJ sets, presentations and proximity proposals.

More than a concert agenda

Es Gremi functions as a hybrid piece within the Mallorcan scene. Its more than 80 rehearsal rooms and a community of more than 500 musicians generate a daily flow that differentiates the venue from a conventional nightclub. The Music School, created in 2017, adds classrooms, DJ courses, production and studio, while the Riff Club acts as a bar-restaurant and meeting point before and after concerts. That mix between backstage, classroom, dining room, stage and dance floor sustains a venue culture in which the public not only attends events, but crosses paths with those who rehearse, produce and program the island's music.

Clubbing in a Balearic key

Although its programming is not limited to electronics, Es Gremi occupies an important place in the club culture of Palma. The agenda combines rock, indie, hip hop, reggae, metal, jazz, urban parties and dance sessions, with openings variable according to event. Its location outside the historic center allows working with larger volume formats, LED screens and adaptable rooms without losing ties to the city. For the clubber, the experience is defined by the possibility of moving between spaces of different scales, from the intensity of Sala 3 to the proximity of Sala Zero. For musicians, it remains a base infrastructure. That double condition, quarry and dance floor, explains its continuity within the night and live music of Mallorca.
