A stage that floats over the marina

At nightfall, the open sides of the venue turn the lights of Dalt Vila and the reflections of the port into part of the set design. In the center, the stage creates the illusion of floating over an elevated pool, a feature that summarizes the identity of Lío Ibiza: spectacle, dining, and dance floor without rigid borders. Its terrace in Marina Ibiza integrates the maritime landscape into a production that unfolds both on the boards and between the tables.

From the legacy of El Divino to the 21st-century cabaret

The current identity opened in 2011 on the same site that had been occupied by the historic El Divino. Ricardo Urgell promoted the concept together with Joan Gràcia, member of Tricicle and first artistic director, to reinvent the dinner-show as a 21st-century cabaret. Singers, dancers, acrobatics, circus, magic, and humor were mixed with dinner and constant interaction with the public. That proximity turned table service into part of a continuous dramaturgy and gave the venue a unique profile within an island dominated by electronic music venues.

From dinner to the pulse of the dance floor

The night is planned as a progressive transformation. Mediterranean cuisine and the show occupy the first part; near midnight, the space transitions to Lío Club and the booth takes over without breaking the atmosphere created during dinner. The programming varies according to the residency and covers house, afro house, tech-house, melodic sounds, Balearic classics, Afrobeats, R&B, reggaeton, and Latin house. In 2026, the agenda is articulated in nights such as Vintage by Sebastian Gamboa, Tiempo by Nomis, Toy Room, KŌDŌ, Arkadyan Voyage, Travieso, and Nasty Beats. Its dance floor culture combines theatrical production, VIP tables, an international audience, and a door marked by elegance.

The transition also depends on a d&b audiotechnik installation divided into seven indoor and outdoor zones. Its AmpPresets allow switching from a dinner mode, concentrated on the terrace stage, to a club mode with higher sound pressure and independent control by areas. Restaurant, cabaret, and dance floor thus function as a single sequence, from the first act to the closing.

The farewell to the original location

The Halftime Show season of 2026 maintains the daily summer format with a production inspired by the energy of Super Bowl halftime shows. Pol Chamorro assumed artistic direction after Gràcia's tenure, while resident DJs extend every night after the cabaret. The summer of 2026 has been announced as the last one at the original Marina Ibiza location; the group plans to move the club in 2027 to the nearby Hotel Corso. Until that change, the venue remains active as one of the most recognizable formats of the Ibiza night, defined by the continuity between gastronomy, performing arts, and dancing.
