The dance floor that looks at the Pacific

The dance floor open to the ocean marks the character of Lost Beach Club: a coastal clubbing venue in Montañita where electronics coexist with sand, saline humidity, and an international community of dance floor travelers. Its genealogy goes back to the first parties promoted by Kami Tadayon in the area since the late nineties, to the period of the Montañita Art Center between 2001 and 2005, and to the official opening of the current infrastructure in 2010. Since then, the club has functioned as one of the engines of the Ecuadorian electronic scene, capable of turning a surf town in the province of Santa Elena into a recognizable stop on the global circuit.

Bamboo, murals, and rooms that grow with the beach

The venue does not respond to the closed black room model. Its architecture mixes bamboo, palm trees, concrete, terraces, and outdoor areas, with a handcrafted aesthetic that is reinforced with psychedelic murals and street art associated with the artist Iván Casanova. The experience is articulated around the open-air Main Floor, the terrace facing the sea, and interior spaces like La Cueva, designed to concentrate sound pressure in a more controlled environment. In recent years, the club has continued to expand its internal map with areas like Infinity Room and a new artist dressing room, an organic growth conditioned by its proximity to the beach and by the need to renew materials, decoration, and acoustics.

Funktion-One as a dance floor language

Sound is a central part of its reputation. Lost Beach Club works with a Funktion-One system installed and evolved by Blue Box, with Evo reinforcements and F221 subwoofers that have given the venue a very physical identity: wide bass, defined mids, and enough pressure for long parties without losing clarity. That technical commitment helps explain its continued presence in the Top 100 Clubs of DJ Mag, where it is listed among the world's reference clubs and appears in 2026 in 28th place, with a published capacity of about 2,500 people.

House, techno, and marathons until Monday

The programming moves mainly between house, techno, progressive sounds, and underground variants, with a mix of local talent, residents, and international artists. Names like Mind Against, Tale of Us, Soul Clap, Richy Ahmed, Mochakk, Gordo, Solomun, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, Apollonia, Vintage Culture, and wAFF have passed through its booth, in addition to residents linked to the house like Ezziolino. The club remains active with a variable calendar, weekend parties, Monday sessions, and marathon formats that can last from Friday to Monday; it has also served as the venue for Trotamundo Festival, reinforcing its role as a meeting point between Latin American rave culture and the international circuit.
