A golden calendar in the old town

Luis de Velázquez street concentrates, night after night, the pulse of the most persistent nightclub in the center of Málaga. Sala Gold does not rely on a single party brand: it is a physical venue that opens 365 days a year, with a different concept from Monday to Sunday. Eras Monday, Paris La Nuit, ErasMusic, Tekila, GL:DN:HR, the Saturday Pure Gold, and the Sunday Vibras turn the venue into a continuous programming machine, designed for locals and for those who arrive at the Historic Center to extend the early morning hours.

From Karma and Casanova to the Gold label

the property had already been a dance floor before adopting its current name. In its other life, it operated as Sala Karma and, later, as Sala Casanova. The Gold label—with its double G isotype and classic Greek key pattern—consolidated itself as a downtown nightclub under the direction of Juan Rambla Soto, a Málaga nightlife entrepreneur and president of the city's nightlife industry association. The club is part of the Málaga Nightclub group today, along with Theatro Club, Amazonia by Wengé, and La Comedia, but the venue at 5 Luis de Velázquez remains its flagship dance floor.

Two rooms, five VIP areas, and a moving stage

The Málaga City Council describes a venue with two rooms with different music, VIP areas, boxes, and a private area for bottles. The club itself details five reserved areas: VIP Stage, VIP Principal—up to 150 people—, VIP LED, VIP Ballantine's 10, and VIP CLUB. On the dance floor, the technical argument is one of spectacle: intelligent LED ceilings, moving heads, lasers, gobos, lighting robots, confetti cannons, megatron, a hydraulic stage measuring 5.00 x 3.10 meters, two giant LED screens, a videowall, and LED televisions. It is a club of show as much as of DJ: go-go dancers, bottle service, and an aesthetic of mirrors, red neon, and gold.

Commercial dance floor, weekend electronic music, and global nomination

The programming moves between commercial hits, Latin hits, reggaeton, and nights with more electronic or urban weight. It is not a temple of industrial techno: it is a downtown nightclub that sustains the daily clubbing of the capital, with an explicit dress code and VIP tables. In 2020, the venue completed renovations to ventilation and room quality, just before the pandemic closure. In 2022, it was the only nightclub in Málaga capital nominated for The World's Best Clubs by the International Nightlife Association. The door continues to open every night from 22:30, closing at 06:00 or 07:00 depending on the day.
