A sound park between valley, lake, and bamboo

The scale of the venue is the first striking feature: an open complex in the Camboriú valley, surrounded by greenery, a lake, sculptures, and architecture designed so that the night functions like a small, permanent festival. Opened in 2021 and conceived by Renato Ratier, a key figure behind D-EDGE, Surreal Park brought an expanded reading of club culture to the interior of Santa Catarina: not a closed room, but a musical park of 135,000 m² where the public circulates between stages, rest areas, dining options, and art pieces.

Stages with their own personality

The complex is articulated around six stages and a multi-room logic that is very unusual in the Brazilian circuit. Ritual acts as the main stage and has been presented with a capacity for 12,000 people, featuring a large-format structure associated with wood, bamboo, and a ceremonial staging. Bells concentrates the darker and more industrial imagery, with a large bell over the DJ booth and programming oriented towards techno and its derivatives. Nomad, located by the lake, works with an organic, mystical, and tent-like aesthetic, with documented presence of a Funktion-One system in recent events. Raw Room provides a more rustic and intimate atmosphere, while Church exploits the image of a chapel, luminous cross, bar, bathrooms, and wooden floor. The Jetset project, associated with the fuselage of a Boeing 727-200, reinforces the scenographic vocation of the park.

International programming, Brazilian roots

The programming has placed the venue on the global electronic music map in just a few years. Names such as Carl Cox, Black Coffee, Joseph Capriati, Seth Troxler, Dixon, Sasha, Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, Stephan Bodzin, ANNA, Guy J, and Anderson Noise have passed through its stages, along with the recurring presence of Ratier and artists from the Brazilian scene. The venue combines its own nights, festivals, anniversaries of international brands, and curations linked to projects like D-EDGE, Half Baked, fabric, or Defected, without losing the character of a stable physical venue.

Club, festival, and nocturnal landscape

Surreal Park operates with variable programming, with night events, daytime dates, and large celebrations for summer, Carnival, and New Year's Eve. Its appeal does not depend only on the lineup: the journey between gardens, covered stages, green areas, shop, cloakroom, food court, hammocks, tables, and VIP boxes turns the visit into a large-format clubbing experience. The distance from the urban center and the vastness of the land give it a sense of retreat, but the proximity to the tourist axis of Balneário Camboriú connects it to one of the most visible leisure hubs in southern Brazil. Its current identity resides in that tension between nature, ephemeral architecture, house, techno, and immersive production.
