The contrast between an open-air garden and a two-story main room defines the identity of Velice Discoteca. Opened in 2016 in the Polígono Casagrande of Torrevieja, opposite the Aquopolis area, the venue was born with a scale unusual for nightlife in southern Alicante: over 1,700 m2 of facilities, a capacity for about 2,500 people per night, and a structure designed to operate both in high season and on weekends and holidays throughout the rest of the year.

Velice does not follow the compact urban club model. Its experience relies on two clearly differentiated spaces: the exterior, designed for long summer nights on the Costa Blanca, and an indoor room where performances, DJ sessions, concerts, and high-production parties are concentrated. The upper floor, the VIP areas, the bottle service, the shishas, and the visual staging reinforce a tourist macro-club profile, designed for large crowds and nights with a strong scenic focus.

Urban, commercial electronic, and seasonal culture

Its programming mixes reggaeton, urban music, house, commercial electronic, deep house, EDM, and live performances. The venue should not be confused with the parties it hosts, although its own themed nights and seasonal events have been essential to consolidate its brand. Artists such as Karol G, Feid, Saiko, Jhay Cortez, Gordo, Claptone, Chelina Manuhutu, Juan Magán, Carlos Jean, or DJ Nano have passed through its booth and stage, a mix of names that explains its position between a coastal club, a concert hall, and a nightlife entertainment venue.

The nightlife reference of the Alicante-Murcia axis

Velice occupies a unique place in the Levante scene: it is not an underground venue or a niche club, but a large nightlife entertainment container with international ambition. Its presence on lists like The World’s 100 Best Clubs by International Nightlife has reinforced its visibility outside of Torrevieja, but its real strength lies in the combination of tourism, local public, popular programming, and physical scale. In a city marked by summer, the coast, and holiday leisure, Velice functions as one of the most recognizable meeting points for the nightlife of Alicante and the corridor towards Murcia.
