Architecture to make the dancefloor vibrate

The spatial precision of architecture runs through the way Anetha builds tension: layers of techno, trance and experimental electronica, elastic basslines, sharp hits and luminous melodies that advance with an almost physical logic. Raised between Bordeaux and the Atlantic surroundings of Lacanau, she grew up surrounded by the new wave, electroclash and minimal her parents listened to. She started mixing in bars during her adolescence and combined that practice with six years of architecture studies, first in Bordeaux and then in Paris. A stint in London, where she performed at Corsica Studios, and the impact of discovering Berghain finished steering her trajectory towards music.

From the Parisian underground to international projection

In 2012 she co-founded Blocaus, a collective, party series and label from which she consolidated her presence in the Parisian scene. Her sets, precise yet unpredictable, took her from clubs like Concrete, Rex Club and La Machine du Moulin Rouge to international booths like Bassiani, De School, Fuse and Berghain. In production, she debuted with the EP Ophiuchus on Work Them Records in 2015; later came releases such as Leftover Love, Acid Train, Bionic Romance and Acid Science. The recording of her 2018 Boiler Room in Amsterdam decisively amplified her reach and placed her among the most recognizable figures of the new French techno generation.

Her own ecosystem between music, image and sustainability

Anetha founded Mama Told Ya in 2019 as a platform for emerging artists and collaborations that overflow the rigid boundaries of the genre. In 2023 she expanded that universe with Fané.e, a digital label with seasonal operations and an environmental vocation. Her first solo album, Mothearth (2024), brought together ten pieces of post-club, techno, trance, rave, experimentation and drum and bass, incorporating her own voice and addressing femininity, motherhood, ecology and sexism in the industry with irony and directness.

That same year she was part of the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games at the Stade de France in front of some 80,000 people. In 2025 she brought EXHIBIT A/V to festivals like DGTL, Dour, Sónar and Nuits Sonores, an audiovisual show directed by FEMUR. The agency Mama Loves Ya, created in 2020 with a philosophy of artistic well-being and reduction of environmental impact, ceased its activity in July 2026, while Mama Told Ya continued as the core of her work. Releases such as Watch Us Glow, Y2K (Rewind Mix) and Voicetrack Generation extend a trajectory that combines club power, melodic sensitivity, a personal discourse and an integral conception of artistic identity.
