Maria Vitalica is a professional electronic music DJ based in Alicante, with a sonic identity marked by 90s trance, 2000s techno, and European club culture. Her relationship with electronic music began in 1992, a period that defines her sensibility for Trance, Techno, Electro, Progressive, House, and the Remember sound. Before establishing herself in the DJ booth, she lived experiences in France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, countries that influenced her way of understanding the dance floor, musical selection, and the emotional bond with club classics.

From electronic journalism to personalized sets

During the 2000s, she worked as a specialized journalist for media outlets such as Only for DJ's and ClubXtrem, participating in European tours and interviews linked to international figures of the scene, including Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Vitalic, Oxia, and Paul Kalkbrenner. That journalistic phase was later integrated into an artistic proposal highly focused on electronic memory, set narrative, and adaptation to the context of each event.

Training, equipment, and residency at Gigi's

In her role as a DJ, she trained at Batek Studio, in San Vicente del Raspeig, and develops sets for private events, corporate events, restaurants, cocktail bars, pubs, private spaces, and nightclubs. Her work is supported by a bespoke musical selection and her own equipment, with Pioneer XDJ-RR, CDJ 2000 Nexus, and a DJM 900 Nexus mixer. In Alicante, she maintains a regular presence as a monthly resident DJ at Gigi's, where she unfolds sets oriented toward a diverse audience, especially within the electronic spectrum.

Trance Memory and current projects

Since January 2026, she has been promoting Trance Memory on Radioké Albacete, a monthly program that she creates, produces, and hosts with a focus on 90s and 2000s trance. She also participates in Tiembla Radio with Luz Electrónica, maintains activity on SoundCloud and YouTube, and collaborates with the Colectivo Rebobina, a benchmark in the dissemination of 90s and 2000s electronic music. Her current agenda combines private performances, presence on web and FM radios, collaborations with local artists such as DJ Batek, NicoX, and Dani Ripoll, and proposals linked to the Hogueras de Alicante.
