Techno to be danced with your eyes closed

Closing your eyes and letting the sound become honest: that is the compass of ANNĒ. In her sets, techno is not showcased, it is inhabited. She builds an arc of high pressure, hypnotic groove, and pushing basslines, with clear references to Detroit, hardgroove, and the electronic music of the nineties and 2000s. For her, the DJ booth is never above the dancefloor: the dancer is part of the track, and she keeps one foot in the booth and the other among the people.

From the raves of Thessaloniki to the international circuit

Raised in Thessaloniki, she went from an attentive raver—that first festival in 2010, with Miss Kittin as a revelation—to DJing in 2012. Self-taught, without a conservatory or academic rules, she learned production blindly, based on machines, tutorials, and a lot of patience. Before sharpening her current sound, she went through house, acid house, and gospel house. That rhythmic memory is noticeable: her tracks seek attitude, design, and a bassline that is remembered, not an interchangeable loop.

Hardgroove, Soma and the Mutual Rytm family

The record label leap came with Ben Sims' Hardgroove and Symbolism, Soma Records, Mutual Rytm, Out of Place, Life In Patterns, NECHTO, FJAAK's CROWD, and BPitch. Fairy Dust surpassed 260,000 plays on Spotify; Trinity, Moon Lander, Sleepwalkers —with a remix by Slam—, Skydivers, and Kinesis expanded the map. Amelie Lens, Luke Slater, Pan-Pot, Anfisa Letyago, Joris Voorn, Rodhad, James Ruskin, The Advent, and Richie Hawtin have supported her catalog. With Sera J, she signed the Symbiosis saga on Mutual Rytm. In 2025, she remixed Ben Sims' Snapshot '99, curated TECH035 for TECHNO Records, and released A Tear In The Sofa on Ellen Allien's We Are Not Alone Pt. 9.

Berghain, Boiler Room and two residencies

She has performed at Berghain, Bassiani, RSO, Radion, Fuse, Fold, E1, Exhale, Basement, and HÖR Berlin, and has toured South America, Africa, Australia, and Asia. In December 2024, she signed her Boiler Room in Warsaw. She holds residencies at SMUT (Athens) and Frenzy (Amsterdam). Thessaloniki remains home: a small scene for which she demands more clubs and more infrastructure, and the place where she continues to record.

Blind Harmonies, the label of producing blindly

In 2026, she founded Blind Harmonies, an independent platform for emotional, timeless, and unhurried techno. The name speaks to her method: harmonies found by ear, not on the staff. The first record, Metallic Tapes, was released on vinyl and digital on May 15, 2026; then came Augusto Taito. Demos will open in 2027. Today, ANNĒ maintains her own catalog, a global agenda, and a simple idea: fewer records, more truth on the dancefloor.
