Rough basslines, airy spaces, and a very precise reading of the dancefloor have placed Archie Hamilton in a league of his own within minimal-rooted house and techno. Based in London and associated early on with the FUSE scene, his career has developed between the studio, vinyl, and an international schedule that keeps the focus on the patient construction of the groove rather than flashy gestures. His identity combines the discipline of a selector, melodic sensitivity, and a DJing style that stretches tension without losing club functionality.

An ecosystem of his own: Moscow, Arkityp, and MicroHertz

After studying marketing at Oxford Brookes and honing his production technique at Point Blank Music School, Hamilton began to shape his language from the London underground scene. Moscow Records, founded in 2009, was his first major platform: a label to release his own material and open space for like-minded producers. He later expanded his creative radius with Moss Co. and Arkityp, a project developed alongside Rossko with a presence in Ibiza. His releases on FUSE London, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Be Chosen, Pleasure Zone, or Defected consolidated a catalog of hypnotic house, physical bass, and atmospheric detail. Tracks like Works On Sunday, Mind Blank, Driven, or Mercury Rising reinforced his bond with the dancefloor, while Archive Fiction, his debut album released in 2019 on Moscow Records, broadened the framework toward trip-hop, dub techno, acid jazz, drum and bass, and minimal-pulse house.

MicroHertz as a current meeting point

With MicroHertz, launched in 2022, Hamilton has refined a platform focused on deep, alternative, and highly groove-oriented sounds. The label functions as a laboratory for international producers and as a natural extension of his sets: stripped-back cuts, elastic basslines, precise percussion, and a spacious finish for small clubs, terraces, and festivals. His recent activity has also ventured into more vocal and luminous territories, with music on Dansu Discs, Defected, and Higher Ground, in addition to new releases on his own label.

From fabric to Ibiza, Miami, and major festivals

Hamilton is a regular name in key booths for contemporary house and techno. He has played at fabric in London, including an all-night long in the main room, and has passed through spaces and events such as the Terrace at Club Space Miami, Circoloco, Music On, Solid Grooves, and Paradise in Ibiza. His schedule has also taken him to festivals such as Sunwaves, Caprices, Kappa Futur, Creamfields, and Awakenings. That combination of his own label, a consistent catalog, and booth craftsmanship keeps him an influential figure within the international minimal house, tech house, and club-focused techno circuit.
