Adam Port

From hardcore to a unique club language

Before afro house became a global phenomenon, Adam Port had already built an identity based on rhythm, patient selection, and the blending of musical cultures. His training began in his teens with hardcore from New York, Boston, and Washington D.C.; later came hip-hop, turntablism, and a very physical relationship with vinyl. That journey led to house and techno, but he was never confined to a single label. Born in Poland and artistically developed in Berlin, he has integrated references to dub, dancehall, rap, soul, and psychedelic rock into his sets and productions, always with the groove as the axis and an execution that is more elegant than flashy.

Keinemusik as a workshop and community

Since 2009, he has held a central place in Keinemusik, the Berlin collective and label whose musical core he shares with &ME, Rampa, and Reznik. The platform allowed him to develop a recognizable discography without giving up external collaborations or different club tempos. In addition to his releases on Keinemusik, he has released music on labels such as Freerange, Pets Recordings, Cocoon, and Moon Harbour. Tracks like Ganesha Song, the Planet 9 EP, or White Noise Romantica show his ability to combine percussion, deep bass, melodic tension, and unpredictable production details. The collective albums You Are Safe and Send Return consolidated a way of working in which individual contributions merge into a common identity, both in the studio and in the group's long shared sessions.

When Move took over the dancefloor

During the 2020s, his sound moved more clearly toward afro house and melodic house, without losing the rhythmic discipline of his techno phase. Collaborations like Point of No Return with Monolink and The Dream with Theus Mago and Martina Camargo expanded that palette. In 2024, Move, alongside Stryv and Malachiii, transcended the club circuit, became an international hit, and received a new version with Camila Cabello. Then came releases like Positions and, in 2026, Be the One with SG Lewis, proof of a trajectory that continues to connect the dancefloor with broader song formats.

In parallel, Adam Port maintains an international schedule of performances both solo and with Keinemusik, from spaces linked to club culture, such as Circoloco at DC-10, to major festivals. His current position is sustained by that balance: Berlin roots, global sensibility, and a reading of house focused on percussion, emotion, and the narrative construction of each set.
