Born in London and linked early on to British club culture, before establishing himself as an artist, he worked in the editorial environment of Dazed & Confused and later in A&R, a foundation that explains his profile as a selector, talent scout, and architect of scenes.

Crosstown Rebels as a laboratory for mutants

In 2003, he founded Crosstown Rebels, a label that went from being an independent platform to one of the central nodes of club house and techno. From there, he boosted careers and releases linked to artists like Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, and Art Department, and developed extensions like Rebellion. His brand is not limited to the catalog: Get Lost, Rebel Rave, and Day Zero expanded his idea of electronic music toward immersive experiences in unconventional spaces, from clubs in Miami and Ibiza to the jungle of Tulum. Day Zero, born around the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012, summarizes that tension between ritual, hedonism, and stage production that characterizes his universe.

Records that cross club, song, and psychedelia

As a producer, he has released works that shun the functional formula. Smoke The Monster Out appeared in 2009 and opened a more domestic, vocal, and eccentric line. With Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, he expanded the palette toward organic and global collaborations on albums like Message From The Other Side and Heart of Sky. Later came Flourish, the soundtrack Beijing Spring, and a series of Re-Shapes for artists like Bedouin, Black Coffee, Krust, and Teddy Pendergrass. He also signed high-profile collaborations, including the Grammy-nominated Don’t Be Afraid with Diplo and Jungle, and Start Over alongside Gorgon City with Leia Contois.

Ibiza, Tulum, and the next magical chapter

Ibiza remains a key piece of his myth: his closing sets in the Main Room of CircoLoco at DC-10 are part of the island's recent folklore, and his stint at Hï Ibiza alongside Black Coffee reinforced his presence on the international circuit. In 2025, he released Magickal on Crosstown Rebels, an album announced and released by surprise during Day Zero Tulum week, with collaborators such as Jem Cooke, Fink, JOJO ABOT, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, A-Trak, Mathew Jonson, MËSTIZA, and Zoe Kypri. Today, he occupies a unique position: not only as a DJ and producer, but as a musical curator capable of connecting music, place, community, and narrative.
