Ritual, science fiction and dancefloor pressure

The NEWORLD era turned Argy into one of the most recognizable names in large-format melodic techno: an artist who blends hypnotic melodies, cinematic tension, and a highly curated visual image. His music moves between festival energy and the mental architecture of the club, with almost ritualistic vocal lines, impactful basslines, and an aesthetic narrative that connects the dancefloor with references to science fiction, fashion, and audiovisual culture.

From Rhodes to the international club map

Born and raised in Rhodes, Argy developed his first productions during his adolescence and moved to London to study music technology. His entry into the international scene came with Love Dose, released in 2005 by Poker Flat, a release that placed him on the European minimal techno circuit. From there, he built a vast and changing discography, with works for labels such as Cocoon, Objektivity, Ibadan, Permanent Vacation, Cadenza, Renaissance, and Afterlife. That trajectory was not limited to a single label: he moved from minimal and tech house to a more melodic, deep, and expansive language, without losing the rhythmic precision that marked his early years.

The Afterlife mutation and the NEWORLD universe

After years of activity in reference booths, including stints linked to Panorama Bar and the Ibiza circuit, his sound took on a new dimension with Ketuvim and, shortly after, with Tataki, a piece released on Afterlife that amplified his global reach. In 2021, he released The Interior Journey on Renaissance, and in 2024, he consolidated his most massive phase with New World, an album crossed by futuristic imagery, emotional tension, and collaborations with names like Anyma, ARTBAT, Goom Gum, Omnya, and Son of Son. Songs like Aria, Pantheon, Higher Power, Sierra, and Voices In My Head reinforced his position within a generation of producers who have taken melodic techno to world-scale stages.

A live show designed as an experience

In his current phase, Argy functions not only as a club producer but as a creator of an audiovisual universe. NEWORLD II and the associated conceptual tour expand that identity with a high-impact stage production, designed for large venues, festivals, and immersive spaces. His performances on platforms and stages such as Cercle, Tomorrowland, EDC, and Dreamstate show a profile capable of sustaining both maximum-intensity sessions and long, immersive narratives. That combination of music, aesthetics, and control of the narrative has placed Argy at a unique point in contemporary electronic music: between the European underground heritage and a new global culture of electronic spectacle.
