Long-distance hypnosis

The hypnotic tension of Adriatique is built in long, progressive, and detail-laden sessions, where melodic techno and house advance like a narrative rather than a succession of peaks. The Swiss duo formed by Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer began to take shape in the Zürich club scene after meeting in 2008, and since 2009 they have operated as a creative unit recognizable by their deep pulse, patient transitions, and a way of understanding the dance floor that borders on meditation. Their internal balance has been key: studio vision, club reading, and the construction of atmospheres coexist in a common language that avoids excess and bets on cumulative intensity.

Their own label as an artistic extension

After establishing themselves in the European circuit with music on labels such as Diynamic Music, Culprit, Cityfox, and Afterlife, Adriatique turned their name into an international reference for melodic techno and house. Their album Nude, released on Afterlife in 2018, expanded that identity with a more narrative format and a wider-reaching production, while their remixes and collaborations reinforced their presence among club crowds and festival audiences. In 2016, they took a decisive step with Siamese, a label and artistic platform from which they have released their own music and that of other producers, in addition to opening space for visual and performative proposals linked to their aesthetic universe.

X, big stages, and a new stage

The duo's recent evolution revolves around X, a scenic, audiovisual, and record brand that takes their idea of immersion to large-scale formats. Under that umbrella, they have developed their own shows and releases such as The Future Is Unknown, Back To Life, or Love’s A Game, expanding their sound towards cinematic, powerful, and emotional electronica. Their performances on platforms and at events such as Cercle, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Hï Ibiza, and the CircoLoco orbit have placed Adriatique in a central position within the global scene: a project capable of connecting club rigor with a monumental stage presence without losing the sense of a continuous journey that defines their best sets.
