From Tragedy to Musical Rebirth

Boris Brejcha, born on November 26, 1981, in Ludwigshafen, Germany, is a unique figure in the world of electronic music, known as the architect of the "High-Tech Minimal" genre. His childhood was marked by a traumatic event: at the age of six, he was a victim of the Ramstein air show disaster in 1988, suffering severe burns that kept him hospitalized for months. The isolation resulting from his scars pushed him toward music as a refuge. At 12, inspired by a Thunderdome CD, he began producing his own sounds, transforming his pain into inexhaustible creativity that would eventually define his career.

The Invention of High-Tech Minimal and Fckng Serious

Brejcha burst onto the scene in 2006 with releases like "Monster" and "Yellow Kitchen". Frustrated by not finding music that fit his vision, he decided to create his own subgenre in 2012: High-Tech Minimal. This style fuses the structure of Minimal Techno with rolling basslines, intricate percussion, and futuristic melodies, creating a sound that is both "intelligent" and devastating on the dance floor. To have total control over his art, he founded his own label, Fckng Serious, in 2015. Together with collaborators like Ann Clue, he established a musical family that prioritizes authenticity, organizing pioneering bus tours and building a global brand based solely on musical quality.

An integral part of his mystique is his iconic jester-style Venetian mask, adopted after a performance at the Universo Paralello festival in Brazil. The mask is not just theatricality; it is a barrier that allows him to immerse himself completely in his music.
