The silent D of East London

In the high-energy house that bridges Hackney with Ibiza, Djammin is the signature with which the East London MC and producer brought a sound to the dancefloor that was already incubating outside of grime. The silent D is no mere decoration: it is the rebrand with which the artist known as Jammin—and also as Jus Jammin—began signing his club music when Skepta and his cousin Jammer launched the Más Tiempo label. He remains Jammin in everything he does; the new alias serves to show how he thinks about music when the kick drum rules.

Nationality, Boy Better Know and the grime school

Born in Hackney, with Caribbean roots and raised in East London, he entered the London grime scene early on, guided by Jammer. He trained simultaneously as a DJ, producer, and MC, released under Nationality Records, and moved as an affiliate of Boy Better Know. During that stage, he left behind MC cuts and productions for the city's eastern circuit: radios, raves, and constant crossover with the BBK family. The jump to house does not erase that school. What grime left him is a single discipline: being yourself. That dryness, that urgency, and that way of speaking to the dancefloor are what are later heard, disguised as groove, in his club tracks.

Bounce, Down Shovel and the Throw Your Hands EP

The record label landing on Más Tiempo arrived with Down Shovel (2023), his first cut on the label, paired with Touching My Body by Jammer, Skepta, and Etta Bond. In June 2024, he released Bounce, a skippy house track with dry kicks and hooky vocals, and in July he closed the gesture with the Throw Your Hands EP: Bounce, Saving All My Love, Throw Your Hands, Noodles, and Shuffle Gang. He presented it as a selection from hundreds of tracks recorded the previous year, designed for those who love house and high energy: if the genre wasn't for you, you end up moving your leg in the club. Since then, Blower (2025), Drive By with D Double E (2025), and SURE with Scrufizzer (2026) have followed. The catalog is not locked into a single substyle; Djammin insists on taking risks and not always repeating the same direction.

Studio 338, Big Smoke and the season at Hï Ibiza

In the booth, the archive extends. In July 2024, he played at Glove Seazon at Studio 338, a set of almost an hour of classic house, his own edits, and crossovers with the Más Tiempo catalog. In 2025, he performed at the Big Smoke festival, on the Más Tiempo day, in a b2b with Ossie. In 2026, his name appears in the Hï Ibiza season: Más Tiempo Club Room at the Black Coffee opening, Defected with Carl Craig and Eliza Rose, and the club closing alongside Skepta, Ossie, and Meeshy. Between East London and Playa d'en Bossa, Djammin today occupies the niche of a dirty and festive house producer-DJ, with one foot still in grime and the other on superclub dancefloors.
