Runways, raves and a discreet club entrance

Estella Boersma's transition from international runways to the DJ booth doesn't function as a footnote, but as a natural extension of a creative identity marked by movement. Before establishing herself in electronic music, the Dutch artist had already worked in fashion for top-tier brands and publications, with credits associated with houses such as Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. That contact with aesthetics, physical presence and the rhythm of international circuits eventually found another space for expression in the club. She grew up surrounded by electronic music, discovered the impact of the dancefloor in Amsterdam and began approaching production through synthesizers and machines, first as a sonic fascination and later as her own language.

A language of accelerated rave

Based in Berlin, Boersma has built a signature sound oriented towards the direct energy of the dancefloor: high-voltage techno, nervous electro, breakbeat, acid traces and more atmospheric passages when the tension calls for it. Her recording debut arrived in 2021 with Dance Trax Vol.32, released on Dance Trax, the sub-label associated with Unknown To The Unknown, with tracks such as Multipass, Round 1 or Rush. That same year she continued the momentum with Dance Trax Vol.34, a release that solidified her affinity for broken structures, British-rooted hard house and rave beats. Later came cuts like The Wave on Lobster Theremin, Sweat and Glade on Unknown To The Unknown, expanding a catalog that moves between functional forcefulness and a clear memory of the nineties.

EB-REX and the festival scale

In 2024, she opened a new chapter with EB-REX, a Berlin label founded by her to release club techno with room for acid, speed, futuristic design and stylistic freedom. Its first release, EB001, presented four tracks focused on dancefloor pressure; in 2025, EB002 and EB003 arrived, reinforcing a line of luminous, rolling, peak-time techno. In parallel, her sessions have circulated through major platforms and stages: Boiler Room Festival Berlin, HÖR, Mixmag Lab Awakenings, Stone Techno Festival for ARTE Concert, Awakenings, Glastonbury, fabric London, RADION and Intercell. That combination of visual craft, fast selection and her own production positions her as a recognizable figure within the new European high-energy techno circuit.
