The Cavo Paradiso terrace acts as the natural axis of DJ Freespirit's history: a meeting point between the Mykonos night, the sunrise over the Aegean, and a way of understanding house music from the dancefloor. His long-standing residency at the club, which spans 25 years, has made him a recognizable presence within one of the most iconic open-air spaces in European electronic music.

Patras, Mykonos and a club grammar

Originally from Patras, Sotiris Felonis developed an open artistic identity, connected to Greek club culture and a palette ranging from Afro House and melodic house to tech house, deep, and progressive. His stated references look to names like Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, and Chus & Ceballos, but his language has been built primarily in the booth: warm-ups, residency nights, extended sessions, and direct contact with international audiences.

Label, radio and a moving catalog

In addition to his role as a DJ and producer, Freespirit holds an internal role in the musical machinery of Cavo Paradiso Records, where he works as A&R and label manager. This position connects his booth criteria with the search for music useful for DJs and clubbers, especially within the afro, melodic, and high-energy house territories. He is also linked to Venus Radio Mykonos as a music curator, expanding his activity beyond the performance format.

In production, he has released music and remixes on labels such as Redolent, Go Deeva, Cavo Paradiso Records, Lapsus Music, Rhythmetic, and Claps Records. His recent catalog includes collaborations and remixes with artists such as Eran Hersh, Tekkman, Guztavo PT, Paakman, MELØ, Joseph Abruzzi, or The NGHBRS, with dancefloor-oriented tracks like Tik Tok, Woah, The More I Feel, Un Beso, Stay, and Body.

A bridge figure for the Greek scene

His international journey has taken him through booths and contexts such as Hï Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Cocoon Frankfurt, and Untold Festival Dubai, in addition to a sustained presence in Mykonos. He was also invited to perform in Qatar during the World Cup musical environment, a milestone that reinforced his profile outside of Greece. Today, Freespirit occupies a bridge position between the Greek house tradition, Mediterranean club culture, and a global scene that demands afro and melodic sounds with punch, emotion, and a sense of the dancefloor.
