Resident booth under the arches of MYA

In the City of Arts and Sciences, Jose Buzz is part of the resident team at MYA Valencia, a large-format venue next to L'Umbracle. His name appears repeatedly on the Friday and Saturday lineups alongside Fercho Energy, Juanma Vallejo, Marf Daniels, V-Funk, and Rubén Coronado, anchoring long nights of house, tech house, and club electronica. He maintains an extended session recorded in that very booth, Jose Buzz in Session in Mya, dated 2015: the residency is not a cameo, but a continuity of over a decade on that dancefloor.

From music theory to Zona Radioactiva

Born in Valencia in 1979, he grew up with music theory classes and various instruments—guitar, accordion, and piano—until electronica established itself as his language. At 14, he hosted the show Now is the time. Shortly after, he collaborated for years on Zona Radioactiva and spent time at a local station in Museros. He was shaped by listening to Zona de Acción, from which he gained dancefloor culture and selection criteria. At 16, he was already presenting the Babel Nick shows and DJing for the venue's audience, his first public leap as a young DJ in the Valencian scene.

Venues, coast, and Dinamik Deejays

The circuit took him through Amadeus, Bananas Maxi Disco, and Pub Spiral, as well as mobile discos in Valencia, Alicante, and Castellón. Outside the province, he played at Dolce Vita (Almería), Discoteca Victoria (Cáceres), and Dadara (Villar del Arzobispo), and at the major festivals of Sedaví. In 2009, he was a resident at The Face and The Face Beach, then one of the trendiest venues on the coast. Between 2009 and 2011, he performed with Dinamik Deejays at the Ibizate Boat Return, the carnivals of Dadara, Sedaví, and Condes in Rotglà. There are also remaining sessions at 30 y Tantos and the Wake Up party at Mokai Club.

Edits, label house, and long mixes

In 2010, he signed the Jose Buzz Edit of Take My Love 2010, by DJ Tururu, for Contraseña Records. In 2012, he participated in the Comfusion Spring Compilation by Comfusion Records with Foolin, alongside Rangside and Robbie Glover, a five-minute and twenty-second house track. Completing that profile are the Splash Original Mix and the remix of Sueño Latino by Monica X with Rafa Marco, in the Sith Digital catalog. His public mixes move between techno, tech house, and house: Tech House & Techno 2016, Tech Wake Up! 1.0, or a Saturday session of over three hours. Today, his place is the main dancefloor of MYA: a Valencian club DJ, from local radio to a stable residency, with a repertoire designed to last through the night until closing.
