Buenos Aires tech house has a deliberately short name. Juan (AR) builds sessions with dry bass, crisp percussion, and a groove designed to keep the dancefloor moving. The signature is not just for show: it serves to stand out in a market saturated with homonyms and to make it clear that the sound comes from Argentina, with the pulse of the capital's nightlife.

Caballito, Pioneer gear, and a late start

He grew up in the Caballito neighborhood in Buenos Aires, listening to electronic music when magazine CDs still marked an adolescence transitioning from cassette to compact disc. He debuted at 17 at Liverpool, in Palermo, in front of an audience older than him; he didn't fully commit to the decks until he was 24, when he was able to work with Pioneer 350s he brought from the United States. Meanwhile, he studied Accounting: the DJ booth arrived when the craft was no longer an improvised hobby.

Headliner at Crobar, Rio, and La Playa

The leap in visibility was measured by the clubs that define the local calendar. He has been a headliner at Crobar and Rio Electronic Music in 2024 and 2025, nights where the dancefloor responded without restraint. The circuit expanded to La Playa Festival, Creamfields Argentina, Savage, Zef, 4GET, and Club 69, as well as dates in Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay—Inbox, Club Room, Espacio Broadway, Club Hípico—in addition to tours through Spain, Andorra, Italy, and other Latin American countries. In the booth, he has shared the stage with Dennis Cruz, Franky Rizardo, Marco Carola, Héctor Couto, or Rafa Barrios. Since 2019, his booking is handled by the agency Groove Riders.

International labels and a non-stop catalog

As a producer, he has released on labels such as Lost, Be One, Under No Illusion, DPE, Lapsus, Clarisse, 303 Lovers, Circus Recordings, and Deeperfect. He has reached the Beatport top 10 on several occasions and has received support from Stefano Noferini, Nicole Moudaber, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, or The Martinez Brothers. In 2025 and 2026, the catalog remains active with tracks like Strip Club and Skyfall, while his sets mix tech house, deep tech, minimal, and, when the night calls for it, techno and house. A 2021 Forbes Argentina profile already placed him as an emerging figure in the circuit; today, his schedule combines the major dancefloors of Buenos Aires with regular tours through Europe and Latin America.
