ASIA TECH Tuesdays at WOMB

On the main floor of WOMB, the Shibuya club that sets the electronic pulse of Tokyo, Justin Owen has turned Tuesdays into a fixed appointment: ASIA TECH, a club project that blends tech house, techno, and an emotional sound design with an Asian accent. In the booth, with an LED visor and Pioneer equipment, he maintains a recognizable discourse: deep bass, strangely melancholic melodies, and a tempo designed for the international dance floor.

2022 Relaunch and the 2k21 Factory

He debuted as a DJ in 2018 and, in just one year, went on to organize events at a benchmark Tokyo club. Until 2021 he performed as DJ UCHU; in 2022 he relaunched his identity as Justin Owen for the global market. A year earlier he had founded 2k21 RECORD LABEL JAPAN and the 2k21 RECORDS ASIA branch, dedicated to Asian club EDM with traction in China, South Korea, and Vietnam. In 2022 he signed with the German label TRIPPY CODE. In 2023 he launched ASIA TECH at WOMB, toured Japan, and performed in South Korea —Club OCEAN in Seoul, Club BREED in Daegu, Club Ibiza in Daejeon, Club 911 in Suwon— and in Taiwan, at PIPE in Taipei. In Tokyo, he has also been documented at T2 Shinjuku, Tide, Zouk Tokyo, and Maharaja Annex.

SHINITAI, EDEDM VVIP and TECH MAFIA

SHINITAI and EDEDM VVIP have each surpassed ten million plays. The catalog accumulates more than fifty million streams and views; with UGC uses, it is estimated at over eighty million, and in 2026 he surpassed four million monthly listeners on YouTube Music. SHINITAI reached number 1 on iTunes Dance in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, number 2 overall in Kyrgyzstan, and the top 10 in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Denmark, and Costa Rica. He has topped Apple Music, Beatport, Traxsource, and iTunes charts. The pull of SHINITAI in China led him to sign with LONG MORNING. In 2025 he opened the sub-label TECH MAFIA RECORD and diversified the group with lines such as FREQUENCY QUEST, ANSM, and ACID TECHNO FAMILY. The album INTERDIMENSIONAL SPACE and exclusive mixsets —including the LIVE DJ SET Vol.1 at WOMB— consolidate his dual role as producer, A&R, and anchor of the ASIA TECH night in the Japanese club circuit oriented towards Asia.
