Luke Dean is a British DJ and producer from London, identified with the new generation of the UK underground house scene. His musical education began with an early affinity for hip hop and artists like Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Tupac, before connecting that language with the groove of club music. As a child, he played piano and drums, and his cousin Max Dean showed him FL Studio, the starting point for building a self-taught production method. In a few years, he went from bedroom work to an international schedule, supported by a direct, energetic, and highly recognizable sound within the minimal and tech house circuit.

Bouncy bass, catchy vocals, and garage memory

His aesthetic combines elastic basslines, immediate vocals, and thick house-inspired rhythms, with references to 90s Chicago house, UK garage, deep tech, and contemporary minimal tech. In the booth, he is associated with high-energy mixes, functional selections, and a dancefloor reading that keeps the groove above excess. That formula has allowed him to move between underground clubs and larger-scale stages without abandoning an identity based on rhythm, swing, and very physical hooks.

From Get Hard to the neXup family

His breakthrough came in 2023 with Get Hard (You In The Lobby), a single initially released on neXup recz that became a viral club anthem and climbed the Beatport charts before expanding to Polydor, Chaos, and Interscope. He later consolidated his catalog with EPs and tracks such as Just The 1, Sounding Different, Diss You Right, Silly People, Ready Set Go, Baby’s On The Decks, and Pump It. In 2024, Ready Set Go arrived on LOCUS, Enzo Siragusa's label, reinforcing his entry into the FUSE house/minimal environment.

Chart-topping songs and international leap

In 2025, he marked a turning point with Can’t Decide, a collaboration with Max Dean and Locky that reached number 13 on the UK Official Singles Chart and won the Best Track award at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards 2025. That same cycle, he added Curveball, The Finest EP with Max Dean, Make Believe alongside Omar+ on Insomniac Records, and Supa Smoov with Locky. His live presence includes fabric London, DC-10, The Warehouse Project, After Caposile, Paradise, Solid Grooves, Eden Ibiza, Chinois Ibiza, Club Space Miami, tours in Australia, and the debut of Max Dean b2b Luke Dean at Coachella 2026, inside the Yuma tent.
