The groove was born on the dancefloor

Their techno sessions, kicky-bouncy at 160 BPM, are instantly recognizable: the kick pushes, the bass bounces, and the body has no choice but to follow. That physics isn't just a DJ booth ornament. In Saint-Lô, Normandy, they grew up between a blues and jazz guitarist father and a singer and dance teacher mother. By age five, they were already dancing hip-hop; later, they earned a dance baccalaureate in Falaise, spent time at the Centre chorégraphique national de Roubaix, and trained at the Juste Debout School in Paris. From age eight to twenty-two, they were a professional dancer. The controller came later, when house dance, nights at the Magazine Club in Lille, and Kompass in Ghent turned the groove into a DJ profession.

Peak time between Garnier and Maceo Plex

Before settling in Paris, they were part of the Precept collective in Lille and MAD Brains in Caen. At nineteen, they won the Nördik Impakt and Astropolis competitions and played at peak time alongside Laurent Garnier and Maceo Plex. They inherited the alias from the posters their father used to play blues in bars: Mac Declos stopped being a borrowed name to become a dancefloor identity, intense, precise, and with an open palette. The edit Give It To Me with Lacchesi accumulated millions of streams and suddenly opened up the international scene to them.

Mama Told Ya and the club archive

In 2022, they released the EP Cuir en Cage on Myst and the first album Hard Work Always Pays Off on Mama Told Ya, Anetha's label: ten club tracks where afrobeat, trance, psychedelia, and ghetto emerge. In the spring of 2024, Endless Cycle arrived on XX Lab, François X's label; in 2025, Angel Eyes with Pablo Bozzi on Second Sight, a love letter to house. On September 19, 2025, they premiered Nothing Stands Still, their second LP on Mama Told Ya: twelve pieces straddling the line between song and dancefloor, featuring Anetha and the voices of their parents, Doona Rolls and Éric Declosmenil. They have also signed collaborations with Kuss.

From Malta to the London residency

The Boiler Room at Glitch Festival in Malta, in 2024, cemented their global image. Since then, they have taken all-night sessions to DGTL Amsterdam, fabric in London, Rex Club, RSO in Berlin, Fuse, and Nuits Sonores, and they are a resident of Tech Couture in London. Based in Paris, they represent a French generation that doesn't choose between the body and the head: they mix precise technique with the joy of the dancefloor, and continue to treat every set as an invitation to lose control without letting go of the groove.
