Origins and Training

MEDUZA is an acclaimed Italian electronic music production trio that has redefined the house landscape. Formed in Milan in 2019, the group consists of producers Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale, and Simone Giani. Their approach has always been clear: to bring house music back to global radio charts, imbuing it with a dark atmosphere and emotive vocals that connect deeply with the masses.

A Historic Debut

The absolute turning point came with their debut single, Piece of Your Heart. Released in early 2019 alongside the British trio Goodboys, the track instantly became a global anthem. The song dominated clubs, reached number two on the UK charts, and accumulated over a billion streams. The immense commercial impact earned them a prestigious Grammy Award nomination in the Best Dance Recording category, permanently cementing their international status.

Global Consolidation

This overwhelming success laid the foundation for their sound. Far from being one-hit wonders, MEDUZA demonstrated their ability to create timeless anthems. They released Lose Control, again with Goodboys and the vocals of Becky Hill, solidifying their status as kings of commercial tech house. They achieved record-breaking numbers and became the most-streamed Italian artist in the history of digital streaming platforms.

Collaborations

With the electronic scene at their feet, they continued to refine their successful formula. They presented Paradise alongside Dermot Kennedy, and in 2021 they surprised everyone by collaborating with Hozier on Tell It To My Heart, demonstrating great versatility. Their ability to cross borders became evident when they produced the official anthem for UEFA EURO 2024, titled Fire, alongside the popular band OneRepublic and the artist Leony.

Live and Record Label

Live, MEDUZA takes their sound to massive festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Elrow, in addition to maintaining residencies at iconic clubs like Hï Ibiza. Seeking to take their proposal to the next level, the trio developed MEDUZA³, where they play synthesizers and keyboards live. With the creation of their own record label, Aeterna Records, they continue to expand the boundaries of club sound by supporting new talent.
