All Night Long under the Raval

At Moog in Barcelona, MEN nights are recognized by high-pressure techno: relentless kick drums, dense textures, and an arc that builds tension until the release. He doesn't chase trends or dancefloor shortcuts. Since settling by the Mediterranean in 2002, he has turned that Raval booth into his natural territory, with residencies, all-night sessions, and an audience that places him among the most solid exponents of local techno.

Decks ignited on the Cantabrian coast

The start is in the north. An Asturian artist, he first got behind the decks in Gijón in the early nineties and, since 1993, toured clubs that defined the electronic scene of that coast: La Real and Whippoorwill in Oviedo, the Locomotive in Avilés, and Gijón venues like Rocamar, Paranox, and Química. That scene, key to the national techno of the decade, left its mark on a serious, hypnotic, and uncompromising selection, closer to the underground than the showcase.

Crossing kicks: industrial, Detroit, and IDM

The center of gravity is techno, but the sessions are contaminated with industrial sound, Detroit hard funk, and danceable IDM. Rather than just chaining tracks, he builds narratives on the dancefloor: immersion, authenticity, and a club reading that seeks something more than an easy party. In Barcelona, he has also played at Sidecar, Razzmatazz 3, The Garage Club BCN, and kreuzberg.CLUB, and has shared the night with names like STERAC (Steve Rachmad), The Advent, UNIVAC, Gus Van Sound, and Olmos. Moog itself dedicated chapter 13 of MOOG On Air to him in 2020.

L-Men-T, the dancefloor as a relay

Since 2022, he has been promoting L-Men-T, nights where he opens up to emerging DJs and producers from the Barcelona scene—including Izars and Lady B—to sustain the circuit beyond his own booth. The weight of his discourse remains on the decks: mixes, All Night Long, and the club's historical programming, season after season. In a circuit that changes its name every few months, his value is different: continuity, northern memory, and a techno that takes the dancefloor seriously.
