Enrico Sangiuliano has built one of the most recognizable signatures in contemporary techno through an obsession with sonic detail, melodic tension, and the physical architecture of the kick drum. His music combines club pressure, narrative sense, and meticulous production, inheriting his background as a sound designer at the IED in Milan. Born in Reggio Emilia, he began linked to the Italian rave culture before translating that energy into a more precise, powerful, and cinematic studio language.

The leap that changed the pulse of Beatport

The international turning point arrived in 2015 with his remix of Can You Hear Me by DJ Boris for Alleanza, a piece that propelled his name within the global techno circuit and was highlighted as one of the biggest Beatport bestsellers in the genre. From there, he consolidated a period of rapid growth: works like Moon Rocks, Astral Projection, X-Pollination, and the collaboration Preset Heaven with Adam Beyer placed his sound at the center of the new wave of large-format techno, with a functional punch but loaded with melody and microscopic design.

Drumcode as a platform, NINETOZERO as a concept

His relationship with Drumcode was decisive in bringing his aesthetic to international audiences. In 2018, he released Biomorph, a conceptual album with an almost scientific approach, where he developed a broader vision of mutation, energy, and narrative applied to the dancefloor. Later, he opened his own chapter with NINETOZERO, a label limited to ten chapters and conceived as an intervention against the idea of infinite publishing. Works such as Silence, Sound Of Space, Reflection, Physical Change, Interconnection, Transcendence, Order In Chaos, and Absence have appeared there, reinforcing an artistic line based on closed cycles, attentive listening, and controlled evolution.

Long sets, tension, and international scale

As a DJ and performer, Sangiuliano moves between the forcefulness of Peak Time Techno and a more immersive reading of the musical narrative. His SOLO series extended the philosophy of NINETOZERO to the all-night-long format, championing long-haul sessions capable of starting from silence and returning to it. In parallel, his performances and recordings on platforms and at events like Kappa FuturFestival, Ultra Music Festival Resistance, Awakenings, and Time Warp have reinforced his position as one of the most solid Italian names in global techno. His current profile relies on that dual condition: a producer of surgical precision and a selector capable of turning massive energy into an experience with structure, tension, and memory.
