132.00FM, the frequency that rebuilt UK garage

When UK garage seemed like a nostalgia archive, MPH brought it back to peak time. Arriving from Canterbury, he landed on Night Bass—AC Slater's label—with an ear trained on DJ EZ's Boiler Rooms and a language of his own: luminous intros that break into dirty drops, FM donks, reese lines, and chopped vocals that work just as well in the club as they do on the ride home.

From the local pub to Crucast, Nuvolve and Night Bass

He started in the booth, not the DAW. In his city, he organized nights with the Delirium collective and snuck into clubs with his USB, before moving to FL Studio and, later, Ableton after a session with DJ Zinc. In the late 2010s, he released on Low End, Highly Swung, Crucast, and Nuvolve, DJ EZ's label. In 2020, Slater signed Come Back for Night Bass Freshmen Vol. 4, and that relationship crystallized in February 2023 with 132.00FM, a seven-track LP designed to be listened to in one go: from the darkness of Sunset, Ghost, and Rush (with Cecilia) to the melodic turn of Sunrise, California, and the closing R&R with Hamdi. Slater pointed him out as next up. In 2024 came Refraction, broader—house, garage, drum and bass, dubstep—and Lights On, with Slater and Eloise Keeble. Overrated ended up on Fabric Presents the Streets, the commercial mix by Mike Skinner.

Substance, Bangalter and the jump to the major

In October 2025, he self-released Substance, a thirteen-track conceptual album with MC EV that covers an entire night, from pre-drinks to the comedown. That same month, Thomas Bangalter played Flex It and Raw—the latter towards Daft Punk's Digital Love—in his first set in sixteen years, in Paris alongside Fred again... Raw had topped the Beatport UKG chart on Black Book Records; Flex It, with Æ, closed the circle. The remix of Calvin Harris's I'm Not Alone and the one for KH, Four Tet, and Nelly Furtado's Only Human expanded his reach. In 2026, he debuted on a major with Unconditional (DisOrder), written, produced, and sung by him on a flight to Miami and tested in a b2b with Disclosure in San Francisco, and released Mirage with Skrillex via DisOrder and Capitol.

Boomtown, Coachella, Ultra and Ibiza

Glastonbury, Boomtown—about 7,000 people—, Parklife, Outlook, Coachella's Do Lab, EDC Las Vegas, and Thailand, a b2b with Swedish House Mafia on the Ultra Miami mainstage, and support for FISHER at UNVRS (Ibiza) place his booth on the big circuit. He completed a sold-out sixteen-date album tour across North America, the UK, and Ireland, plus two headline tours in Australia. The Live in Tokyo set for UKF On Air (Circus Tokyo, 2025) and collaborations with Chris Lake and Kelly Lee Owens, Sammy Virji, or Oppidan, with backing from Skream, Floating Points, and Chris Lorenzo, place him at the center of the new wave of British UKG.
