Live percussion on the pirate stations of East London

Before the cult labels, the sound of Ossie was already traveling through London's pirate stations. Tracks like Tarantula, leaning on almost live-style percussion and precision synthesizers, became anthems of the city's east-end underground circuit, pushed by DJ Petchy and stations like Live FM. That UK funky and pirate house scene launched a career that spans post-dubstep, dancefloor house, and afro house with bass as the axis.

Kode 9, Hyperdub and British house

In 2011, Hyperdub released Set The Tone, a UK funky and broken beat EP with vocoder, Rhodes, and jazzy grooves. FACT Magazine placed it among the brightest of British house at the time and commissioned the FACT Mix 257. A year later came Ignore, also on Hyperdub, featuring vocalist Tilz. In parallel, he explored Detroit techno shades on Lightworks and delved into British house via Wolf Music, Midnight Visions, and 2020 Vision. Exploited released Milk (2017) and We Mad; MTA Records launched Cape Town Is Calling and I'm Not The One, with support from Benji B, Gilles Peterson, and Annie Mac.

SuperCali, Madhouse and Nervous

In 2016, he founded SuperCali with the EP In A House: hard drums, punchy bass, and a nod to house, electro, and funk, with a remix by his regular collaborator PHRH (Ki Pharaoh). Gilles Peterson celebrated that material. Space Odyssey, To Make You Smile—tribal, disco, and garage on the same record—, Ossie Baba, Once Again, or the afro house Real World followed. On Madhouse, the label of Kerri Chandler, he released Yeah We Feel It; Sense Traxx released Better Days; and in 2020 Nervous Records premiered the Arrival EP. The Blessed Madonna, Jamie Jones, Laurent Garnier, Osunlade, Axel Boman, or Camelphat have played his catalog. In the booth, he has passed through Boiler Room alongside Deviation at the Notting Hill Carnival, Sónar, Lovebox, XOYO, the WorldWide Festival in Sète, Fabriclive—25 years of Zed Bias—and, later, Drumsheds, Beams, and Skepta's Big Smoke Festival. He maintained SuperCali on Reprezent Radio.

Más Tiempo, Heist and the current dancefloor

The alliance with Más Tiempo, the house label of Skepta and Jammer, marks his recent stage: Touch Me, Smoke In Your Eyes, and the EP Unstable (2024), with Un Poquito Más alongside J Kolo. In 2024, he headlined the launch of ROOM TWO at Moko, Tottenham, a night dedicated to London's Black electronic music. In 2025, Heist Recordings, the label of Dam Swindle, released That's a Vibe and his own mixtape. Today he moves between house, UK funky, afro house, and deep house, with percussion at the forefront, and continues releasing on SuperCali alongside Ki Pharaoh while keeping a firm foot on the UK club and festival dancefloors.
