The Bierzo groove that made it to the Ibiza booth

Between Afro percussion, deep bass, and organic-rooted house, Pomboklap has turned the connection between Madrid and Ibiza into his natural territory. He grew up in Ponferrada in a house of musicians: his father, a saxophonist and flutist, and his mother, a vocalist, ran a school where he spent his childhood playing instruments and listening to everything. At 14, he dove into soul, disco, and funk vinyls; at 16, his DJing shifted toward electronic music without letting go of those nuances, and he began crafting loops, rhythms, and samples with foundations in hip hop and house. By 17, he was already a resident at clubs in the Leonese Bierzo region—Lalola Lounge Club, Enzo Club, and La Vaca Club—where he refined an eclectic selection that still defines his nights.

Sacro, Namasté, and the Hï circuit

Since 2014, he has spent every summer in Ibiza. He has played at Bora Bora, Pacha, Blue Marlin, Beach House, Sankeys, and Las Dalias, and established himself as a resident for Sacro by Mestiza at Cova Santa and the Namasté party at Akasha. In 2025, he arrived at Hï Ibiza for several dates; in 2026, he remains linked to Namasté, Nido, and Visionari at Akasha, and to Mestiza events at Hï. In 2015, after his second island season, he moved to Madrid: from Goya Social Club, Florida Retiro, and Café Berlín, he went on to become a resident at LAB the Club, LULA Club, and Istar. He has brought that same groove to the Atlético de Madrid stadium, the Plaza de Toros, IFEMA, Parque Tierno Galván, and the Autocine. In 2020, he expanded his circuit through Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga, the Canary Islands, and Mallorca, and his international career has taken him to clubs in France, Greece, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, India, or the United States, among others, sharing the bill with Damian Lazarus, Guy Gerber, Adam Port, &me, Blondish, Jan Blomqvist, Pablo Fierro, Rampue, Luciano, Henrik Schwarz, Camelphat, or Steve Lawler.

Afro House with his own label and brand

His sound—Afro House, deep house, and house with ethnic, organic, indie, and disco touches—seeks long sessions with groove and power, closer to a journey than a label. As a producer, he has released on Go Deeva, Redolent, Sacro, Sudam, Pipe & Pochet, AFRODISE, Deeplomatic, Tortuga, or Katun. Tracks like Tulum—alongside Aaron Sevilla and P. Rivas—, Se Fundieron, Noches de Sevilla, Marnik, Respect Yourself, Salga La Luna, or Isenowah mark his recent catalog. He is the founder of the Madrid Electronic Music brand, A&R for Sacro Music, international resident for Sacro by Mestiza, and an artist on the TEN Ibiza Agency roster. On the radio, he hosted Discollage on Pure Ibiza Radio for years; on video, he has left sessions of over an hour at Lula Club, Vagalume Tulum, Dubai, and KOKO London, the clearest portrait of a DJ who continues to build dancefloors between the island and the capital.
