The sharp blow that turned rawstyle into a ceremony

The forcefulness of the kicks, the somber melodies, and an almost military aesthetic have placed Radical Redemption among the most recognizable names in Dutch hard dance. His language moves at the friction point between rawstyle, hardstyle, and hardcore, with sharp synths, melancholic atmospheres, and large-scale rhythmic sections. From Denekamp and with an early foundation as a drummer, Joey van Ingen translated that physical relationship with rhythm into a production designed to impact both clubs and massive venues.

A machinery of albums, anthems, and his own shows

His recording breakthrough arrived with Annihilate in 2012, released on Minus Is More, and continued with a series of albums that consolidated his identity: The Spell of Sin, The One Man Army, The Road to Redemption, Command and Conquer, Chronicles of Chaos, and the No Retaliation era. In parallel, tracks like America, the Brutal saga, 20.000 Volts with Yellow Claw, Hard to Tell, and Stronger & Better expanded the reach of his sound within the harder styles scene. His presence at festivals like Defqon.1, Dominator, Loudness, Supremacy, or Intents reinforced a reputation based on high-pressure sets, abundant original material, and a very marked visual narrative.

From the studio to the total spectacle

Radical Redemption has turned his concerts into productions with their own identity. Events like The Road to Redemption, Command & Conquer, and The Brotherhood of Brutality led him to surpass the barrier of tens of thousands of tickets sold in a solo show format, a scale that is unusual within hard dance. He was also part of collective projects like Minus Militia and Marshals of Mayhem, extending his work toward live formats and collaboration with other names in the raw scene.

Orchestra, lasers, and creative control

After years linked to Minus Is More, he opened an independent chapter with Redemption Records, a label founded in 2023 to channel his own releases and support hardstyle, raw, hardcore, and other territories' music. In 2024, he presented Radical Redemption & His Orchestra of Eternity, a concept that unites the power of hard dance with an orchestra of twenty musicians, and later developed Laser Legion Live, taken to a second phase in 2025. With fifteen years of his career celebrated in 2026, his current position combines a catalog, a stage brand, and a clear ambition to push rawstyle toward increasingly cinematic and personal formats.
