From the DJ booths of Baix Llobregat to the leap to Pont Aeri

The fast, melodic, and hard-hitting sessions that defined the Catalan nightlife of the late nineties found one of their most persistent names in Dany BPM. His journey began in his adolescence, with performances at MOES and later at Impacto, in Sant Boi de Llobregat. In May 1999, he won the Catalonia DJ contest held at VIPS, in Calafell, and that same summer he joined Pont Aeri as a resident. He remained linked to the club until December 2003, a decisive period for consolidating his identity between makina, speed, and an openly festive approach. Afterwards, he continued in booths such as Kontrol Mataró, Chasis, Decibèlia, and Set4Dos, maintaining a close relationship with the Catalan club circuit.

A signature that connects makina and hard dance

Production became the second great axis of his career. His catalog exceeds 300 productions and ten million streams, with releases on labels such as Dirty Workz, Dutch Master Works, Harsh, Foolish, and Blanco y Negro Music. Tracks like Miracles, which reached number one on Máxima FM, and Last Time, which reached number three, expanded his presence beyond specialized dance floors. He has also collaborated with DJ Nano, LNY TNZ, Dr. Rude, Zany, Kutski, Dr. Phunk, Marsal Ventura, and Mon DJ, in addition to signing remixes for Albert Neve, Abel Ramos, Eyes Of Providence, and Pont Aeri. His current language links hard dance, hardstyle, jumpstyle, freestyle, and makina roots, with recognizable melodies, direct vocals, and structures designed for the dance floor. Part of his record activity is also articulated around Kitsune Records, a label associated with his project.

Large venues, radio, and a period of recognition

His career has passed through international events such as Electric Love, Decibel Outdoor, Pussy Lounge XXL, and The Clash of Titans, in addition to Spanish festivals and clubs such as Medusa, Animal Sound, and Fabrik. In the LOS40 environment, he has also performed before massive audiences, including the Plaza del Pilar in Zaragoza, where he participated in an event with around 70,000 attendees. Currently, he selects, mixes, and presents LOS40 Hard Dance, broadcast on Sundays from 22:00 to 23:00 on LOS40 Dance, reinforcing his role as a tastemaker for the most hard-hitting sounds of electronic music.

In 2026, he received recognition from AEDYP as best electronic music producer in Spain and released, together with Rebeca and Sofía Cristo, Duro de pelar (30 Aniversario Remix). His activity also extends to the Artitud podcast, Twitch broadcasts, and the book El sueño de ser DJ. With more than two decades of continuity, Dany BPM occupies a unique position between the memory of Spanish makina and the contemporary evolution of hard dance.
