The British groove that defies a single label

When Riordan drops a dirty reese bass and a garage break near 132 BPM, the dancefloor stops being textbook tech house or by-the-book UK garage: it is that middle ground that has made his name one of the most recognizable signatures in recent British house. He grew up in Chichester, on the south coast of England, with parents who played him house and UK garage since he was a child. By fifteen, he was already DJing at local parties and venues; during the 2020 lockdown, at seventeen, he started producing.

A number one born from an eighties vocal

With no industry safety net, he used TikTok and Instagram—which he had learned in a music marketing job—to carve out a niche. In February 2022, he quit his job and went full-time. After a Latin house phase, the definitive turn came with Needle On The Record, released in November 2023 on REALM Records, Gorgon City's label. The hook started from an eighties vocal his father gave him; six months and seven versions later, the track reached global number one on Beatport and was adopted by Michael Bibi, Mau P, Dom Dolla, Jamie Jones, and Gorgon City themselves. That hit opened the doors to Chris Lake's Black Book Records, FISHER's Catch & Release, and Insomniac Records.

From Village Underground to the Yuma tent

2024 was the year of his first US tour, Ibiza, ADE, and a sold-out show at Village Underground in London. He played at EDC Las Vegas, ARC, Space Miami, and Amnesia, and supported Calvin Harris at Ushuaïa. TWOSTEP, on Insomniac, became his most-streamed track; Lifting with Silva Bumpa added another number one on Beatport. His catalog has been filled with dancefloor weapons: 909 with Danny P, Bring Me Down with Stanton Warriors, Party Out, Jump Higher, Gimme, Strong Rhyme with Bushbaby, Straight From The Underground on ATW, and The Funk EP on Hot Creations.

Coachella claimed him for the Do Lab in 2025 and the Yuma tent in 2026. He has sold out Knockdown Center in New York, Cermak Hall in Chicago, and, back home, 12,000 tickets at Goodwood, the racetrack where he went as a teenager to see Carl Cox, Pete Tong, or MK. He has also passed through Lollapalooza, Creamfields, Parklife, Reading, and Solid Grooves at DC10, and maintains a slot on Rinse FM.

Signed to Darkroom Records and with European booking through MEANWHILE, Riordan positions himself among the producers who are rewriting UK house for a generation that arrived via social media and stayed for the dance. The focus is on high-voltage singles—Friction with Locky, Best Be Believing with Aluna, Danny P, and Caleb Laurenson—and on turning every date into a party with identity, not an anonymous DJ booth.
