The IDs the dancefloor was begging for without a name

Before the circuit knew who he was, Son of Son was already inside the sessions: unidentified cuts, strange voices, and a hook that Instagram turned into a Weekly draw. The Stockholm producer, also known as The Great Blondino, landed in 2024 with a melodic techno that doesn't fit the template: opera, vocoder, visual humor, and the mandate to do something different.

Argy, Afterlife, and the first label that believed

He had been producing for thirteen years without an echo when Argy put him on the New World album by Afterlife with Faust, a track inspired by the 1926 silent film. That push opened Siamese, the label by Adriatique, where he debuted solo with the EP Lost Control (June 2024): the title track, Du Ska Inte —vocals in Swedish with voice synthesis, a nod to Ingmar Bergman— and Elucidum. With Argy and Omiki came RITMO; with Adriatique, Style & Fashion.

Sphere, Ibiza, and the voice that won't let you sleep

Voices In My Head, together with Anyma and Argy, was released on February 14, 2025, on The End of Genesys and slipped into Anyma's residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. He wrote the entire chorus for the first time and sang it with an AI-generated voice. Amelie Lens signed a remix that pushed it toward the hard dancefloor. In July 2025, he opened the inaugural night of Anyma's residency at UNVRS, Ibiza, and his schedule expanded to India, Cairo, Cartagena with Adriatique, Dubai, Zagreb, or Tunis.

Jazz drums, fashion notebooks

At twelve years old, Take Five by Dave Brubeck pushed him toward jazz drums; years later he snuck into a deadmau5 concert and swapped the kit for a computer. His mother introduced him to opera and classical music; his father, to psychedelic rock and folk. In high school, he drew clothes in his notebooks and, without a budget, sewed them himself. The look —impossible blonde, strange tailoring, the nickname The Great Blondino— is not an extra: it is the character with which he steps into the booth.

Diynamic, his own label, and a constant curve

In 2026, he released the EP Feel Something on Diynamic and How Much Do You Need on his own label Great Blondino, in addition to collaborations with Mathame, JONOS, and Agents Of Time. He is represented in Europe by MFM Booking. He does not define himself as a DJ of a single genre: he mixes techno, house, and oddities, and warns that he will keep throwing curves. The goal, he says, is as simple as it is difficult: take care of his mother, stay healthy, and not look like the guy in the black t-shirt next to him.
