Origins and Training

Swedish House Mafia (known as SHM) is an acclaimed Swedish electronic music supergroup, considered among the most influential in the history of the genre. Officially formed in late 2008 in Stockholm, the powerful trio is composed of Axwell (Axel Christofer Hedfors), Steve Angello (Steven Patrik Josefsson Fragogiannis), and Sebastian Ingrosso (Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso). Although the name emerged in the underground circuit while they were playing with the also-famed Eric Prydz (who chose not to join formally), it was in 2010 that they transformed the music industry with their overwhelming first official hit, 'One (Your Name)', in collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

Global Rise and The First Goodbye

The impact of Swedish House Mafia on the global popularization of EDM was undeniable. They released the compilation 'Until One' in 2010, followed by the masterpiece 'Until Now' in 2012. Intergenerational anthems like 'Miami 2 Ibiza', 'Save the World', and the legendary 'Don't You Worry Child' (with John Martin) solidified them as true global superstars. They were pioneers as the first electronic act to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York. However, at the peak of their overwhelming global fame, the trio announced their separation in June 2012. They said goodbye to their fans with the monumental stadium tour 'One Last Tour', which culminated emotionally at the 2013 edition of Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

Historic Return and 'Paradise Again'

the group's hiatus lasted exactly five years. In 2018, they surprisingly closed the 20th anniversary of Ultra Miami, starring in a reunion that broke the internet. They subsequently undertook a gigantic tour in 2019, laying the foundations for a new sonic identity. This long-awaited rebirth took definitive shape in the spring of 2022 with the release of their acclaimed first full-length studio album: 'Paradise Again'. The album explored much more mature and analog electronic textures, yielding stellar collaborations like the global hit 'Moth To A Flame' alongside The Weeknd. Weeks later, they presented this material by crowning themselves as absolute headliners at the Coachella festival.

Independence and 'SUPERHUMAN'

Represented globally by the agency THE·TEAM and guided by the management of SALXCO, Swedish House Mafia remains at the unreachable peak of the scene. Consolidating their imposing legacy with memorable summer residencies on the stage of Ushuaïa Ibiza, in 2025 they inaugurated an era of total creative freedom by launching their own record label and independent platform, SUPERHUMAN. Thanks to this avant-garde structure focused on challenging market conventions and supporting fresh talent, Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso continue to dictate the vanguard and the future of electronic music.
