The mashup as a precision instrument

Before turning their productions into radio hits, Switch Disco already treated every set like an editing project: recognizable acapellas, melodies from different eras, and club beats linked without losing sight of the dancefloor's reaction. Dan Creasy and Nikos Kalogerias met through friends who managed a club in Zante, Kalogerias' home island. After sharing a Summer season, they formed the duo and pooled their experience as resident DJs. From there comes a hallmark they maintain live: sets where almost every transition functions as a mashup and anthems of the past coexist with contemporary house.

The turning point came when their mashup of Bicep's Glue and Nelly Furtado's Say It Right spread across SoundCloud and social media. The impact attracted Relentless Records, a Sony Music UK label, and opened a phase also focused on original compositions.

A nineties piano and the leap to the mainstream

Everything (2021), their official debut, reinterpreted Donna Lewis' I Love You Always Forever and played during the opening of the seventh British season of Love Island. In 2023 they released REACT with Ella Henderson, built on the motif of Robert Miles' Children. The single reached number 4 in the UK, remained ten weeks in the Top 10, went platinum, and surpassed 200 million streams. Additionally, it received a Song of the Year nomination at the 2024 BRIT Awards.

The VACANCY EP consolidated their move from edit culture to their own catalog, with EASE MY MIND alongside Autograf, WHAT YOU WANT, and the title track. Their formula combines pop vocals, immediate melodic references, and dance and house production capable of working on radio and in large venues.

Ibiza as a residency, the studio as the next frontier

International expansion has advanced alongside an intense DJ booth schedule. The duo has held residencies at Ibiza Rocks and has released extensive sessions from London, Santorini, Miami, Croatia, Zante, and Sydney. They have also performed at Ministry of Sound, Drumsheds, and Tomorrowland Winter. Their mixes span house, progressive house, afro house, melodic house, and tech house, retaining the audience reading acquired during years of residency.

In 2024 they expanded their collaborations with SLEEP TONIGHT (THIS IS THE LIFE) alongside R3HAB and Sam Feldt, based on the Amy Macdonald song; Under The Sun with Ella Henderson and Alok; and I FOUND YOU with Charlotte Haining and Felix. In 2025 followed 2 Hearts, HIDEAWAY with Tones And I, Carte Blanche, and BREATHE with NEVE. During 2026 came Empty Skies with Korolova, the remix of Declan McKenna's Brazil, VOICES, and ALL I NEED, released on August 7th. This sequence places Switch Disco between the virality of mashups and a consolidated British dance project, with its own repertoire and a recognizable live identity.
