Radio voices against a steel kick

In Dutch hard techno, WINSON has become recognizable for an almost cinematic contrast: emotional pop vocals, often taken from hits the audience already has in their heads, fired over relentless kicks. That mix, first rehearsed in TikTok clips, is today the hallmark of his nights and his own tracks. The artist himself has cited John Mayer as an unexpected inspiration: he seeks the clash between the warmth of a popular song and the hardness of the dance floor.

A turntable and Now&Wow

Until 2022 his horizon was the runway. He participated in the thirteenth edition of Holland's Next Top Model, shot for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Adidas, and as late as 2023 he imagined a full-time career as a model. A friend gave him some turntables at the beginning of that year and, on January 3, he uploaded a mashup of Britney Spears with Push Up by Creeds. The videos soared to millions of views. In March 2023 he made the leap to the booth at Now&Wow, in Rotterdam: what was supposed to be an hour ended up being an entire night. Shortly after, he became the first resident of De Stichting. Behind him were ten years of piano and two of violin.

All Day Long to the Johan Cruijff ArenA

The All Day Long brand turned that energy into its own format. On March 9, 2024, he played for nine hours for Kustwacht in his native Dordrecht, with a Boiler Room-style booth in the middle of the crowd. In August, he sold out 3,400 tickets at Thuishaven, Amsterdam. The event at the Biesboschhal in Dordrecht sold out in eight minutes. On December 7, together with Verknipt at Taets (Zaandam), 6,000 tickets were gone in minutes. In 2025, he occupied the 360-degree rotating stage of Verknipt ArenA at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, among names like Nico Moreno, Fantasm, and Paul Elstak, and has closed mainstages such as the one at Complex Festival. Rotterdam Rave, Tegendraads, and North American dates with Unreal confirm the scale.

Closing anthems and hard scene labels

In the studio, Fyre Records released Keeping Your Head Up, a reinterpretation of the Birdy classic (October 2024): over a million streams in the first month, the major Hard Techno playlists on Spotify, and the track he usually closes with. Never Could Let Go was released on Verknipt Records. There are collaborations with Jayron (Kick Selector), Fantasm (Scandal Anthem), Da Hool (Bass In Your Face), GRAVEDGR, FØSS, KLOFAMA, and Dimitri Vegas (Flute). The management of This Is My House, founded by Mano Meijer, places him among the most in-demand headliners of the new hard dance generation.
