British bass under the neon lights of Escudellers

At Marula Café in Barcelona, YULIE has turned her residency into a laboratory for UK Garage, bassline, and funk that doesn't ask for permission from labels. Her proposal traverses the universe of Bass Music: from the most melodic and luminous British garage to the accelerated percussion of jungle and breaks, with stops along the way for Speed Garage and clear inspiration from disco, classic house, and French Touch. Guided by groove, texture, and soul, she organizes her sessions as a dialogue between bass and melody: pressure, emotion, and movement for the dance floor.

From musical direction to the club circuit

Before establishing her name as a solo artist, she worked as a DJ, producer, arranger, and musical director for shows by nationally renowned artists, accompanying them on stage. That facet led her to Primavera Sound 2022, BIME, and Mad Cool Talent, as well as venues in Barcelona and Madrid. Her multidisciplinary training—as a composer, musician, singer, and dancer—is evident in a selection that crosses hip hop, house, and the tradition of contemporary black music without losing the club pulse.

ÓXIDO, Garage Kidds, and the leap to Mad Cool

As a solo artist, she has left her mark at the ÓXIDO party at Sala Apolo, with a live set of over an hour recorded in the booth in April 2025, and at the first edition of DEXT FORCE FEST. She has appeared at AMEBA events and the nights of the Garage Kidds collective, where she has delivered high-speed sessions, between 154 and 165 BPM, as well as the SVGAR Sessions series, focused on UK garage, bassline, UK house, and speed garage. She has also played at events for brands like Nude Project and Handover, and has taken the same language to cities like London. In 2026, Mad Cool Festival added her to its Madrid lineup as one of the winners of Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou.

Representing the sound of the city

In the Beat Barcelona space at 4YFN, she defended local clubbing in front of an international audience and claimed those two hours in the booth as the sound of the city. Today, her natural circuit remains Barcelona: resident at Marula, a regular at Apolo and the underground bass scene, with an open, physical style that is faithful to the groove, always halfway between the roots of dance music and the most current tensions of British electronic music.
