Airbeat One is one of Germany's largest and most spectacular festivals, held annually at the Neustadt-Glewe airfield. Founded in 2002 under the name "Airbase One" with barely 1,000 attendees, it has grown exponentially to become a colossus with over 200,000 visitors (a record in 2022). Its unique hallmark is its thematic concept: each year, the festival conceptually travels to a different country or region (such as "Great Britain", "India", "Italy", or "Spain" in 2025), transforming its gigantic Main Stage into a monumental architectural work that replicates the cultural icons of the chosen destination. It is famous for having one of the largest stages in Europe, competing in visual spectacle with the biggest events in the world.

Diversity at the Airfield

Musically, Airbeat One is a paradise for lovers of mainstream and hard electronic music. Although its roots are in Trance, today it covers the entire spectrum: from the most commercial EDM on the main stage, to Hardstyle (where it is a global reference), Techno, and Psytrance. The world's number one DJs pass through its booths annually, such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Hardwell, or Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The experience is completed with a massive camping area that turns the airfield into a party city for five days.

Beyond the music, Airbeat One stands out for its visual immersion. The use of massive pyrotechnics, lasers, and giant LED screens creates an "otherworldly" atmosphere.
