Lurin Live

The mosh pit of Vivo X El Rock and the elrow XXL format coincide on the same plot: 18 hectares open in San Pedro de Lurín, at kilometer 32 of the Panamericana Sur, designed for capacities that no longer fit in Lima's stadiums and parks.

A venue of scale, not a weekend club

Lurin Live functions as an open-air complex for concerts, festivals, and conventions. It is not a nightclub with a weekly schedule or a nomadic party brand: it is the physical terrain, next to the San Pedro town center and near the Puente San Pedro, that major Lima productions use as a stable headquarters. The venue is presented as Lima's first large-scale convention center, rentable for events throughout the year. It features five stages, its own parking—with areas in front of the venue and an interior VIP parking lot—and a gastronomic zone designed for long days.

On September 30, 2024, Vivo X El Rock announced its move to this complex precisely because of that scale. On March 29, 2025, the festival returned there after a six-year absence, with Avenged Sevenfold, Marilyn Manson, The Hives, Molotov, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and more than thirty national bands. The edition unfolded across five simultaneous stages, with a Ferris wheel, record fair, and a constant flow of public between tracks. The same kilometer 32 had already concentrated, in August 2024, Cochinola, with about 25,000 urban music attendees: the continuity of the plot precedes the name by which it is identified today.

Electronic music arrives in venue format, not club night

The Lima club scene has used Lurin Live as a venue for formats that do not fit in closed rooms. Superclub has programmed elrow XXL there—the premiere of that format in Latin America, with an announced capacity of more than 15,000 people—, Haunted Superclub with Carl Cox and Guy J, and dates by Cloonee and John Summit. On that map, the venue is not the brand: Superclub, elrow, or Haunted are the parties; Lurin Live is the venue. It has also hosted Solomun in a Superclub production in January 2026. Access is governed by each event—schedules, sectors, and minimum age are set by the producer—not by a permanent club door.

The 235-meter wall that anchors the venue to the district

In August 2025, a 235-meter mural by muralist Alexis Villanueva, El Salsa, was inaugurated at the venue, painted together with students from the José Faustino Sánchez Carrión and Julio C. Tello Rojas schools. Marco García, the venue's commercial manager, presented it as a work of local identity: beaches, islands, river, countryside, and the Surococha snow-capped mountain. That piece turns the plot into more than just a concert ground: a cultural space anchored to the valley and the south coast, designed so that the public travels down the Panamericana and finds a concrete venue, not a party that changes direction every Saturday.
