The felines, ranging in age from three months to three years, had severe medical neglect as they had never been examined by a veterinarian.

The animal welfare organization made a public appeal to raise the $30,000 needed to cover an extensive list of clinical expenses. This bill included intake exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, microchip implantation, and an emergency surgical procedure to treat a life-threatening infection in one of the animals.

Recently, on June 8th, Zimmerman used his Instagram stories to mobilize his massive fan base, posting a link for the electronic community to suggest names for the 27 felines and help in the adoption process to find them a permanent home.
