The film documents the emergence of the legendary Love Parade in 1989 as a political demonstration of barely 150 people, its meteoric global rise to gather 1.5 million attendees in 1999, its subsequent commercialization, and the tragic outcome in Duisburg in 2010, where 21 people lost their lives. All of this serves as an empirical preamble to connect this legacy with the current Rave The Planet movement.
