The French producer and artist Pascal Arbez-Nicolas, universally recognized under the alias Vitalic, stars in one of the most unique and intense evolutions of European electronic music. His beginnings under the pseudonym DIMA in the city of Dijon marked a formative stage of sound exploration, strongly influenced by the emergence of the French scene of the nineties led by Daft Punk.

The definitive turning point in his career came at the hands of The Hacker, who recognized the potential of his productions and facilitated his connection with DJ Hell, founder of the influential label International DeeJay Gigolo Records. In 2001, the legendary 'Poney EP' was released, which contained the anthem 'La Rock 01', a revolutionary piece that fused hard-hitting techno, electroclash and rock attitude, redefining the club sound at the beginning of the new millennium.

During his first years in the industry, the producer built an aura of mystery around his figure, spreading a false biography about supposed Ukrainian origins that fueled the project's mythology.
