From the mid-week party to a home of its own

The transformation of a mid-week Thursday into a permanent address summarizes the foundational impulse of Antisistema. The project was born around Jueves Antisistema, a series of parties conceived by three rave culture enthusiasts, and in 2022 it took the step toward a stable club. Its headquarters were fixed on Avenida Caracas, near 63rd Street, within the nightlife fabric of Chapinero. From the beginning, the declared intention was to offer broad-spectrum electronic music, without elitism and with dancing as the center, a premise that explains both its name and its subsequent development.

Main Stage and El Cubo: breadth before orthodoxy

The venue works with two recognizable environments: Main Stage and El Cubo, capable of sustaining simultaneous programming. The main room has a Funktion-One system, while the second space allows separating languages and speeds within the same night. Although the club gained visibility linked to techno, hard techno, and hardgroove, its lineup has incorporated trance, hard house, bounce, acid techno, hardcore, jungle, and drum and bass. That openness does not turn every date into an indiscriminate showcase: the selection is usually organized by rooms, collectives, or concrete sound concepts.

A platform for collectives and booths

Antisistema should not be confused with the promoters that program inside it. The venue acts as a headquarters and collaborator for initiatives of the Bogotá scene, maintaining an open policy to external proposals. International and regional names like Opium Hum, DJ Aphrodite, Hadone, Setaoc Mass, Truncate, Sandrien, Steve Bicknell, Mark Broom, Zisko, DLV, Gotshell, or Ruiz OSC1 have passed through its booths, along with a sustained presence of local artists. The agenda has included extended sessions, meetings between labels and collectives, b2b formats, and style distributions between the two rooms, reinforcing its function as a programming node rather than a party of a single identity.

Active presence on Caracas

In 2026, the club remains active with variable programming and events concentrated, mainly, between Thursday and Saturday. Openings usually take place around 9:00 PM and closings between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, depending on the date. Its positioning combines a countercultural identity with a stable venue operation: a published capacity of 700 people, its own calendar and that of guest promoters, and a recognizable address within the 63rd Street corridor. Rather than defending a single subgenre, Antisistema has built its place in the Bogotá electronic scene through diversity of lineups, dance floor continuity, and an explicit idea of freedom of expression.
