A rooftop that introduced itself with twelve hours of dancing

On February 28, 2025, Mijitō Rooftop introduced itself to the public with a twelve-hour opening night: from 15:59 to 03:59, with Denis Kaznacheev for NERVMUSIC and a local cast —Lado B, Martin Leaves, Vahl, Djaguar, and Danny Lord—. The graphic material of that date spoke of Mijitō Club & Rooftop, of high-altitude coffee, and of a slogan that still heads its channels: Closer to the sky.

Barrio Colombia, not the postcard circuit

The physical venue is at Carrera 44 #25-15, in Barrio Colombia, Medellín. The company Mijito Club operates the venue in an upper-floor interior. It is not a brand that rotates from room to room: it is a rooftop club with a booth overlooking the skyline, windows over the city, and a double life of coffee and dance floor. The terrace, cocktails, and a gastronomic proposal sustain the time before; when night falls, the same floor becomes a dance floor.

Club electronics on a block sky

The musical identity is dance floor electronics. The nights are announced as a club on Resident Advisor and tickets are sold through the venue's ticket office. Techno has been a column: Valentino Kanzyani signed for five hours on that rooftop; collectives like EVOORG, TECHNOALSUR, DARK Techno Collective, Hot Chili, and Street Techno Medellín have used the space as a home. In parallel, there is house and progressive —Kamilo Sanclemente recorded live in September 2025— and the venue itself claims vinyl, live, analog, and digital formats. Above the booth, an LED screen wraps around the dance floor; VIP tables are reserved in advance.

Young scene, concrete venue

Without a pedigree of decades, Mijitō has slipped into the serious lineup of Medellín as a clubbing rooftop: intimate, elevated, and linked to the local scene rather than to the tourism of Provenza. In 2026, the venue continued to program its own weekends and received names like Aleja Sánchez. The lineup changes depending on the night; what does not change is the site. Whoever goes up, goes up to a venue with its own address, not to a nomadic party.
