The Fabric queue, rewritten in an attic

In November 2001, Jay Grant and Warren Mooney met in the Fabric queue and ended up founding Twisted Melon, one of London's most recognized underground nights between 2002 and 2007. The brand jumped from Farringdon, Old Street, Mayfair, and Whitechapel to Jamm, in Brixton, where the parties reached about 500 people, and ended up programming rooms alongside John Digweed at Bedrock, Norman Jay at The Cross, and Ministry of Sound with Deep Dish and Sander Kleinenberg. Names of tech and progressive house like Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Hybrid, Anthony Pappa, Chris Fortier, or Rui Da Silva passed through that dancefloor. That genealogy is the material with which Grant opens Garden Club in 2026, in the attic of Via de Corneli Àtic, 15, in Port d'Alcúdia.

Two speeds: sunset and dawn

The venue is thought of in two spaces and two times. At 8:00 PM, the rooftop terrace starts with sunset sessions, cocktails, and a more Balearic and downtempo register. At 10:00 PM, the indoor club—130 m²—opens and the night descends into darker terrain: deep, tech, and progressive house, with traces of melodic techno, breakbeat, disco, and more euphoric house. The space's motto is concrete: a house club that feels like a house party, intimate enough not to lose the thread of the dancefloor.

Daily season, club programming

Garden Club opens every day from June to October, closing at 4:00 AM. Admission is free before 10:00 PM and paid after, except for promoter nights with their own rate. On Thursdays, Nocturnal concentrates progressive house with selectors from Mallorca; the summer of 2026 started with the Little Black Book takeover and has maintained organic, deep, and progressive house sessions. You can also rent the terrace, the club, or both for private events. In the musical line, there is no ambiguity: commercial music is left off this dancefloor.

A house hideout facing the resort

In the tourist port of northern Mallorca, Garden Club is proposed as a boutique venue, not as a megaclub. Access is 18+—with minors accompanied only on the terrace until 10:00 PM—and the door asks for care: no ripped jeans, tracksuits, football shirts, dirty sneakers, or flip-flops. The value of the site is in transferring to the Mallorcan attic an idea of a London club: house with a journey, two spaces under the same roof, and a terrace that serves as a prologue before the dancefloor gets serious.
